Off the mark for connections at the fourth time of asking landing a Leopardstown 1m5f handicap on good ground last month off a 5lb lower mark. Needs to prove he handles cut but likely has more to offer.

Without a win since October 2017 and lost his way for his former yard. Quicker ground an excuse last time and could well build on promise of previous stable debut in what are ideal conditions. Could go well.

Recently seen over hurdles in a number of unsuccessful excursions in Britain but ran out an easy winner on her most recent start on the Flat at Limerick in October off a 12lb lower mark. High in the handicap but rain would help.

Racing to a consistent level on his most recent three Flat starts and he's on a winning mark. Infrequent winner but he's racing well enough to think he'll be thereabouts once again.

Persistence and patience of connections paid off as the Papal Bull gelding won a Limerick Flat handicap following a 574 day break in April. Improved on that in next two placed starts and ran well over hurdles latest. Should be involved again.

Just failed to get up and add to his sole success when second over 1m3f at Killarney last month. Has gone well over this C&D previously and likely to be competitive once again.

Maiden returned from a 611-day absence in September last year and has really struggled in four starts since. Hard to make a case for.

Quickly detached and completely tailed off on first start since leaving Noel Meade. Very likely to remain a maiden on start number nine having shown little worthwhile form to date.

Made all at Redcar over 1m1f but subsequently disappointing when slowly away at Wolverhampton. Previously unconvincing over further trips so this step up remains a query.

Much improved efforts since switching to the AW with a second and a win on his latest two runs. Unplaced on turf and this sort of ground has previously looked unsuitable.

Nine-race maiden has shown a modicum of ability in the past, but not enough to be of interest here. Two runs back have been poor including in a claimer latest.

Verdict

There's different ground for With A Start to handle but he's lightly raced and is very much one to consider. TOMAHAWK KID is well overdue a win but a return to these conditions rates a big plus and his previous stable debut offered plenty of hope. Walkabout is an obvious danger and is in very good form since returning from a lengthy absence. Danehill Quest and Universal Focus are others to enter calculations.
  1. Tomahawk Kid
  2. Walkabout
  3. With A Start
