Lightly-raced gelding who has had just the four runs so far without success. Showed some promise at Windsor (1m) on his first start of the season when third of 14. He didn't stay the 1m1f at York last time when last of 10. One to watch at new trip.

His latest success came over 7f at Salisbury where he scored by an impressive 7L. Has been unable to add to that on his last two starts where he has climbed 9lb up the weights. May need to produce more from latest mark but not to be discounted.

Has had just the five runs so far where she is still a maiden. Produced her best performance yet on her latest start at Wolverhampton (6f) on the AW when second of eight. May be open to more improvement so has solid each-way claims.

A C&D winner here back in April. Has switched yards since then and although she was successful at Chepstow (7f) back in May, she has struggled since then. Back down to her last winning mark now though so has to be respected.

Broke his maiden at Nottingham earlier this season over this distance. Has failed to follow it up in four starts since then but is down the weights to a mark which is just 1lb above his last success. Leading player.

Remains a maiden after six runs but has gone close on both of his last starts to his opening win, including latest at Musselburgh (5f) when second of nine, beaten by just a neck. Gone up 2lb but this step up in trip will help. One for shortlist.

Returned to action on turf at Pontefract last month where he ran modestly well to finish third of nine over 5f. He was staying on strongly in the closing stages of his latest start suggest this step up to 6f may help. Each-way chance.

Started the season with success over this distance at Thirsk. Has been unable to follow that up in three starts since then. He was fancied to do well last time at Nottingham (6f) when fifth of 14. One to consider off this latest mark.

His sole success came on the AW at Newcastle (5f) last October. Came home third of five over this C&D last time out. Has been eased 1lb since that outing. May need to produce more in this to be in the mix so others are preferred.

Still searching for his first win after six starts. Was a little better last time when third of five at Yarmouth over this distance when going off at 66/1. Form before that has been very poor though so he still has something to prove.

Forecasts

Stallone (4/1), Moftris (5/1), Aghast (5/1), Eye Of The Water (11/2), Great Shout (6/1), Kaafy (6/1), Plumette (12/1), Tobeeornottobee (14/1), One One Seven (16/1), Remission (33/1)

Verdict

STALLONE scored over this distance at Nottingham earlier this season and after four modest runs, he is back down to a mark which gives him a great chance of another success here. Kaafy is not too far away from his opening victory and this 6f gives him a good chance, albeit off a 2lb higher mark than his recent second place finish, while Aghast should do better than his last run at Nottingham which may see him come home in the placings.
