A fiercely competitive and good quality middle-distance handicap which is the feature race of the night. My Reward would hold a decent chance if able to back up the form of his runner-up effort at Ripon when last seen, and it is worth remembering he was a C&D winner here last season. The in-form Speed Company is likely to be bang there once again after Anythingtoday reversed the form with him at York. However, the lightly raced VOLCANIC SKY delivered on the promise he showed earlier in the season to land a Leicester handicap recently with the minimum of fuss. He has only been raised 4lb for that success and is a confident selection as he attempts to follow-up.
