Entitled to come on from reappearance run at York (1m4f; good to soft). Only had the three runs last season where he needed first outing of his campaign then, and looked steadily progressive so there could be plenty more to come.
Lost nothing in defeat when second to the progressive Anythingtoday at York (1m4f; good to firm) recently who he beat at Ripon four starts ago. No reason to see why he can't continue in rich vein of form off a unchanged mark. Player.
Bounced back from poor showing at Ayr (1m5f; good) to go agonisingly close (neck-second) at Ripon (1m4f; good) last time out. Won competitive Class 2 over C&D last summer and could have a prominent role to play.
Done very little wrong this season and latest 4lb rise more than fair after he won in comfortable fashion at Leicester (1m4f; good to firm) last time out. Respectable placed efforts in competitive races twice before that. Could progress again.
Produced a rare below-par effort last time when seventh of eight in a Class 3 at Ascot (1m4f; good to soft). Been running consistently well before that though, so does have claims if able to bounce back.
Still winless after 12 starts under this code but has posted fine efforts in defeat the last twice over 1m4f/1m5f at Beverley/Hamilton. Ran into in-form rival most recently in the shape of Mondain entitled to be thereabouts once again.
Injury has obviously delayed his reappearance given this is his first start for 265 days. Steps up markedly on trip on handicap debut and should have plenty to offer in this sphere, but might just need this.
