Due Dilligence colt who cost 60,000 guineas at spring breeze up sales. Looked very green and slowly away at Haydock last month on debut when ninth of 10 and looks as though he'll need more time.
Oasis Dream half-brother to 2000 Guineas winner Galileo Gold. Slow to break on debut at Newmarket last month but was getting the hang of things towards the finish and caught the eye staying on to be seventh in a fair race. Will know much more now.
Stable companion of Desert Palms. Toronado colt who has shown glimmers of ability in two starts to date but looks one that will probably do better later in the term in nurseries.
58,000 guineas Siyouni cot; half-brother to two French winners at up to 1m2f. Yard in good form and can ready one first time out so certainly worth checking market for any positive indications.
Yard continue to fire in the winner and this son of Speightstown out of a 1m2f French Listed race winner is bred to be decent. Racecourse bow but no surprise to see him shape well.
In-form yard yet to have a juvenile winner this term although they've had just a handful of runners. Well bred Oasis Dream colt with plenty of clas son dam's side too. Might well improve for this first outing and hood a slight concern.
More Than Ready colt makes his racecourse debut. Dam from family of Oaks winner Look Here so will probably find this trip a bare minimum.
Gleneagles colt out of dam who won beat the great Ouija Board in Breeders' Cup Turf. Nice first run when not knocked about in finishing sixth of 14 in 7f Newbury maiden. Will know more now and is an interesting contender.
£74,000 son of Night Of Thunder who is doing well with first crop. Dam Listed winner between 7f-1m2f. No fancy entries but is bred to be decent but may well improve for this first outing.
Wootoon Basset colt who cost €125,000 as a yearling. Modest late headway from rear when 10th of 14 on debut at Newbury last month and will do well to get involved in what looks a fair contest.
Yard having a tremendous season with their juveniles. Gelded son of Spirit Of Light out of 6f Listed winner. Hooded for debut and makes less appeal on paper than many of his blue-blooded stable companions. Respected nonethelesss.
£80,000 Zoffany colt; dam won over 7f as a juvenile. Promising fith over 6f on debut here in June and may have found the fast ground against him when runnng poorly last time at Salisbury over 7f. Others make rather more appeal.

Forecasts
Eshaasy (13/8), Perfected (9/2), Spirit Of Light (6/1), Desert Palms (6/1), Impatient (7/1), General Joe (10/1), Oslo (14/1), Harrison Point (25/1), Zingaro Boy (25/1), Huwaiteb (25/1), Protagonist (33/1), Dogged (40/1), Game Over (66/1)
ESHAASY did enough on debut to suggest he'll come forward for that run and be a danger to all in this contest. He was getting the hang of things late on and should porve a different proposition this time. It's a similar story for Oslo, who looks a danger to the selection, as too does another well bred colt, Desert Palms, who left a moderate debut effort behind with a better run at Newbury last time. Spirit Of Light has to be respected given its connections, while Perfected and Huwaiteb are others to note for any market support.
- Eshaasy
- Oslo
- Desert Palms
