Did not appear to stay an extended mile on second start and then looked short of pace over 7f a month ago. Concedes weight to others who have shown more.
Produced a career best on handicap debut last month when denied by an in-form rival. This looks a lot easier, acts on AW and the stable are in tremendous form.
Showed himself to be suited by 1m on Polytrack earlier in the year and probably wise to overlook a poor run on turf last time. Has been absent four months and will need to be at his best off today's mark.
Impressive winner in the Yarmouth mud in June, but soundly beaten when failing to exploit a handicap loophole next time. Faces a tougher test here off a 3lb higher mark on AW debut.
Looked suited by the step up in trip at Wolverhampton last time. That was a weak affair though and he now meets better rivals off a higher mark over slightly shorter.
Nine-race maiden has slipped to a mark which is in the region of his best career performances. Rider good value for his claim and new headgear applied.
Sea The Stars filly who fetched a six-figure sum and has done little to show she is worth the investment. Headgear applied for handicap debut over a new trip.
Consistent performer and in particular on AW surfaces. Gets some help from the handicapper but will need to settle better than was the case last month.
Has not always had the best of luck in running, but would have to be given a chance on her run here in March under this rider. Dangerous to overlook.
Forecasts
Mutasaamy (6/4), Stormbomber (2/1), Maisie Moo (10/1), Pushmi Pullyu (10/1), Huddle (12/1), Sir Ox (20/1), Moveonup (20/1), Seeing Red (20/1), Undercolours (33/1)
MUTASAAMY is hard to oppose judged on his latest run at Haydock given the improvement he showed for making his handicap debut and a first run following a gelding operation. He was beaten by a progressive sort having been carried left onto the slower part of the course and he can gain compensation here. Stormbomber faces a tougher test than last time but the yard's horses continue to run well, whilst Moveonup and Maisie Moo are better than recent efforts suggest and both may run well at rewarding odds.
- Mutasaamy
- Moveonup
