14:50 Cork Mon 5 August 2019
Finally off the mark in Bellewstown maiden hurdle last month then fair second in Sligo handicap hurdle a week later. Beaten when unseated rider at last at Kilbeggan four days later and runs off 1lb higher mark.
Third of 20 on hurdling bow at Cork in November then ran two fair races after. Tailed off when pulled up on handicap bow over 2m4f at Navan in March and not seen since.
Six-time winner but hasn't scored under either code for three years. Out of sorts so far this campaign and handicapper has been slow to lend a hand so more needed if he is to figure.
Last won at Wexford in May 2017 off 4lb higher mark. Best effort for some while when runner-up last time at Killarney off 2lb lower mark and may not be far away if backing that up.
Had been disapointing prior to fair fourth at Wexford in June then stayed on well last time at Bellewstown to land 2m handicap hurdle by a head off 7lb lower mark. This is tougher but is respected.
11-race maiden who was second in Ballinrobe maiden hurdle last week prior to finishing sixth of 20 in a handicap hurdle at Galway seven days ago. Top jockey on board again and has an obvious chance.
Last win came in Limerick maiden hurdle over three years ago. Unseated rider at second in Kilbeggan chase last month on first start since November. Chance on old hurdles form but has questions to answer at present.
Not seen since September 2017 when beaten favourite in Clonmel maiden hurdle having gone very close previous starts. Top team have persevered and wouldn't have to be any great shakes to go well on first start in handicap if fully fit.
Fair fourth at Killarney penultimate start prior to staying on into decent seventh of 20 in Galway Festival handicap hurdle last week. Not out of it if things drop her way.
Only win in 20 attempts came in Dundalk 1m4f h'cap in December 2017. Stayed on when sixth at Cork last month and has each-way chance if ridden a lttle closer to the pace this time.
19-race maiden but went very close at both at Cork and Killarney last month off 5lb lower mark. Regular conditional claims the 5lb back so has every chance of being in the thick of it once again.
12-year-old who has won over hurdles for more than five years and has looked sour on Flat, refusing to race three times since October. Others make far more appeal.
Very patchy form and has yet to win a race but was close third at decent odds last time at Kilbeggan off 1lb lower mark. Not one to rely as has failed to finish in four of last six starts.
