Improved on second start last week when 4L runner-up at Lingfield despite stumbling at halfway. That was on soft ground and there should be more to come with the stable having a juvenile winner on Thursday.
Unfancied 25/1 shot on recent 6f Doncaster debut and never figured when 6L eighth of nine. Down a furlong here and should have learned from that experience.
Sixth foal. Half-brother to three winners including useful 7f handicapper Take The Helm. Dam won on debut as a two-year-old over 6f but trainer just 3-96 with juveniles in 2019.
Price rose from €5,000 to €38,000 at the Breeze ups in May. First foal of a dam who stayed 1m2f. Stable two-year-olds going well and needs close monitoring in market.
22/1 for recent debut at Ayr over 6f. Didn't show a great deal when 7L sixth of eight and will need to take a step forward to play a part today.
40/1 on Beverley debut a month ago and too green to get involved when beating just one home. Stable jockey prefers the newcomer Norton Lad.
€52,000 yearling. First foal and dam was a 5f winner on debut. Yard amongst the winners with their two-year-olds and wouldn't have to be anything special to play a major role on debut.
Well beaten when going off 50/1 on both starts last month and hard to fancy today with nurseries an option after this.
Slowly away both starts but much better over C&D last week when 2L sixth of nine despite been short of room for a while. That for just about sets the standard of those with experience though softer ground to deal with now
Both runs at Beverley. Showed some ability on debut but took a step backwards on second run there last week and will likely be seen in a better light when handicapping after this.
