350,000gns yearling by Acclamation is a half-sister to French/Qatar 1m-1m3f winner Domfront (inc at 2/AW out of a German 1m winner. Bred to be everything that's needed here and has to be strongly considered given yard.

47,000gns daughter of Sepoy faded into last of six on debut at Newmarket last month. Hopeful that brings her forward now but others more compelling.

Once-raced daughter of Cable Bay was last of 10 at Beverley in July and will have to improve a great deal to be competitive.

Second on debut at Thirsk and in a Sandown Listed race before struggling in the Albany at Royal Ascot. Third as favourite at Haydock latest a shade disappointing but that still strong form and she looks the one to beat here.

Newcomer by Dubawi is half-sister to 6f AW/7f turf winner Jubiloso out of a 6f winning half-sister to the great Frankel. Yard 1-8 with two-year-olds so far and this filly leaps off the page as a potentially smart sort.

Kodiac filly who shaped promisingly at Haydock on debut, beaten less than two lengths on testing ground. Open to improvement now if as effective on AW.

Daughter of No Nay Never was in mid-division throughout when sixth of 10 here on debut last month. Can step forward although it must be by plenty. Yard could not be hotter.

Newcomer by Acclamation cost €160,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to 1m2f winner Final Rock out of a 6f winner. Yard can ready one first time so market support would be interesting.

Forecasts

Jovial (10/11), Jm Jackson (2/1), Intimate Moment (5/1), Dear Power (6/1), Masaakin (8/1), Egotistic (14/1), Wonderful Effort (20/1), Positive Light (33/1), Gelsmoor Bay (200/1)

Verdict

Although in Jm Jackson and Intimate Moment we have two runners here with smart form they are both entirely beatable for one reason or another so it may be worth chancing a newcomer with Sir Michael Stoute's beautifully bred filly JOVIAL the one who appeals the most as relative of Frankel by super-sire Dubawi. Almost as appealing is Dear Power for the prolific Roger Varian yard and she is bred to really appreciate this surface and distance.
  1. Jovial
