Back from a spell over hurdles, where he won at Uttoxeter in June. Has won on soft on the Flat, but improvement needed under top weight.
Going the right way and won easily in a Beverley maiden handicap last time. 6lb rise may not be enough to prevent a follow-up. Acts on soft.
Scored over extended 2m on AW last August, when 1lb higher. Yet to show much in three runs (both Flat & NH) for this trainer.
Improving gradually. Won over 1m6f at Redcar (good to firm) in May. Has not added to that, but keeps taking a step up each time. Will need another one after last 1lb upward nudge. Thereabouts.
Handicap debut. Has been improving, and while this initial mark looks a bit on the stiff side, she is interesting upped in trip. Money for her may well prove significant.
Won a Doncaster handicap (1m6½f, soft) in June. Raced keenly last time, but if settling better here, she could be heavily involved, with conditions again to suit.
Won a Wolverhampton handicap (2m½f, AW) from this mark last winter. Well held five times after that. Blinkers helped last time, but they are left off this time. Bit to prove.
Best effort this year was when runner-up in a 2m Lingfield (AW) handicap in March, but hard to recommend on what he has produced since.
1-20, her win being here over 1m6f (good to firm) last year, when 1lb higher. Placed twice over that C&D this year, but more needed for another win.
Has gone close a couple of times, but remains a maiden after 10 starts. Not written off, but has a bit to prove over as far as this (stays 1m6f).
Well held in all six runs to date. Readily opposed.
Has been staying on at trips around 1m4f on his last two starts, the most recent being an improved effort. Looks interesting now tried over an extreme trip for the first time.
Has gone backwards since a respectable debut at Wetherby. Step up in trip could help, based on his pedigree, but this looks a stiff enough initial mark on what we have seen from him.

Platform Nineteen (4/5), Well Funded (5/1), Victoriano (6/1), Harry The Norseman (10/1), Kitty's Cove (12/1), Artic Nel (20/1), Triple Genius (22/1), Constraint (25/1), Final Choice (33/1), Geyser (33/1), Sweetest Smile (40/1), Tilsworth Sammy (50/1), Late For The Sky (50/1), Duration (80/1), Interrogation (100/1)
The obvious pick here is Platform Nineteen after he ran away with his race at Beverley last time. However, his 5lb claimer from that day is not on board now, while he also has 6lb more to shoulder for the win. Therefore, we'll take a chance on HARRY THE NORSEMAN, who represents a stable in form and should appreciate this longer trip. Well Funded and Victoriano should also both be involved.
