11/4

Dual winning novice hurdler who has yet to score in six chasing attempts; latest two efforts over fences among his best. Only fourth at Ffos Las last time (made some niggling errors); looks fairly handicapped, has to be respected.

One of two runners from the stable he makes his chasing debut with four hurdles wins to his name although the handicapper looks to have gained his measure of late. Needs a good test at this trip; looks the second string on jockey bookings.

Only one hurdles win to her name, that came in a small-field affair at Hereford over this trip; just modest form over hurdles after that. Looked in need of her first experience of fences at Stratford (bit too keen); faces a stiff task based on that.

4/6

Ludlow hurdles winner who took advantage of a hefty age allowance at Ffos Las on chasing debut when favoured by the speed test that contest provided. Jumping was none too fluent but he'll know more this time; still has the weights on his side.

Verdict

David Pipe could easily land a 1-2 here with his strongest candidate being the four-year-old TEASER for whom an early switch to fences looks to have paid off judging him on his Ffos Las win where despite not being foot perfect he was a fairly decisive winner. Neither Storm Home nor Admiral’s Sunset have so far really impressed over fences and that may well leave the way open for the other Pipe contender, the chasing debutant Delface to bustle up his stablemate, he is after all a four-time hurdles winner so doesn’t lack ability.
