Moderate form in pair of maidens at shorter. Now up in trip but handicaps after this will see him in a better light.

£58,000 yearling. Related to moderate winners from 5f to 7f Darkest Light and Teepee Time. Stable third string on jockey bookings.

Prominent in market on debut but didn't show a great deal and a similar story last week at Leopardstown. Appears more of along term prospect.

Has beaten just the one rival in each of his starts and needs dramatic improvement to trouble the favourite on evidence to date.

First foal. Dam was a once raced sister to the smart Lush Lashes. Market should prove informative on debut for yard who have run just a handful of juveniles.

11/1 when fifth of eight on debut though stable won the race with a bigger priced runner. Open to improvement for yard having tremendous season with their juveniles and cheek pieces quick to go on.

Stepped up from debut effort when 1L second to long odds on shot at this trip on second start. Third horse quick to frank the form with a win since and clearly has the best form on offer.

€24,000 yearling. Fifth foal. Half-brother to 6f winner Elizabeth Bennet. Market should reveal any confidence for stable also represented by Mia Figilia

Tailed off last of six when sent off 66/1 on debut last month and on that evidence it's hard to be positive.

Stable jockey's pick from three runners for the yard. Got upset in stalls on 6f Naas debut and wasn't able to give his true running. Should come on for the experience.

Some promise having showed early speed on Curragh debut before fading to finish 10th of 13 at 33/1. Should know more now but others preferred.

Forecasts

Royal County Down (2/5), Out At Dawn (11/2), Recall The Show (7/1), Vormir (8/1), Convincer (10/1), Maker Of Kings (12/1), Mia Figilia (20/1), Eclector (20/1), Slade Runner (20/1), Kenshibu (28/1), Confidence High (33/1), Spit It Out (100/1)

Verdict

Out At Dawn looks the most interesting of the newcomers but she will have to be smart to get the better of ROYAL COUNTY DOWN who has shown more than enough to suggest a race like this is in his grasp. In a race with seemingly little depth Vormir looks best of the rest.
  1. Royal County Down
  2. Out At Dawn
  3. Vormir
