A C&D winner here who opened the campaign with success at Brighton over 7f. Could only finish fifth of seven last time at the same trick over 1m. May need to produce more from this mark so others are preferred.
Was victorious here over 7f last time in a 5L success after going clear at the 3f post. Has gone up 8lb for that win so this is a tougher assignment, however, he has won off a 4lb higher mark. Up in trip which may help. One for shortlist.
Lightly raced gelding who hit the frame on his opening three starts. Could only finish seventh of 10 on his handicap debut at Leicester (1m2f). Cheekpieces on for first time here. Likely to improve on that season opener over this shorter trip.
Scored twice on soft ground earlier this season, with his latest win coming at Nottingham over the extended mile. Struggled last time at Haydock (7f, good to firm) as he could only finish 10th of 12. Ground is a concern here. Others preferred.
Broke her maiden at Bath two starts back in a 12 runner field over 1m. She was unable to follow it up over the same C&D last time where she raced too freely which resulted in her finishing 12th of 13. Remains progressive so one to consider.
A C&D winner who has been running consistently well recently with three second place finishes from her last four starts, including one over this C&D. Could only finish fifth of 13 last time at Windsor (1m2f). Back down in trip. One for shortlist.
Hit the frame at Goodwood and Newbury over 7f but then was disappointing last time at Newbury (1m) where he had just one rival behind him in a nine-runner contest. Blinkers on for first time which may help. Each-way claims.
Was unfortunate not to win over this C&D last week where he finished second of eight, beaten by just ¾L, but with a clear run, it could have been better. Gone up just 1lb for that attempt. Big chance of success here.
Experienced gelding who is a two-time C&D winner. Has hit the frame a coupe of times so far this season, including on his latest start here over 7f when third of 13. Has been eased 1lb. Has to be respected off this latest mark.
Broke his maiden at Southwell (7f) on the AW two starts back. Was fancied to follow that up at Yarmouth (1m, heavy) on his latest run when the 13/8 favourite but could only finish sixth of eight. More expected on this ground so can't be ignored.
Still a maiden after seven races and has been well beaten on her two starts this season for her new yard. She was last of six last time here over 1m2f when going off at 33/1. Down in trip. Very difficult to make a case for.

AMOR FATI ran really well over this C&D last time when he finished second but it would have most likely have been a win if he would have got a clear run inside the final 1f. The handicapper has only put him up 1lb for that outing which looks lenient so take him to make up for that bad luck in his latest outing. Gold Hunter was back to his best last time as he ran out a 5L winner. He should go close to follow that up over this longer trip despite his rise in the weights, while Misu Pete might just find the 9lb rise in the weights too much but that's not to say he can't go close.

- Gold Hunter
