Has gone close a few times including at this track, so frustrating he's yet to win in 16 starts. Place possibilities once again but drop in trip is a concern.
Remains 3lb higher than last win at Lingfield back in January but has scored here previously. Disappointing in two runs since joining this yard and best watched for now.
Winner of two of his last three, over 1m1.5 here and 1m2f at Brighton last time. Raise of 3lb isn't a concern but drop in trip is. Stable also runs Weloof.
Twice a winner over 6f here and now 13lb below last win in January over this trip at Lingfield. Ended a poor run of form with a close second at Beverley in a strongly run race and likely to go close down in grade.
Sole win came with cut in the ground and all his best form has come in testing turf conditions. One good run came on heavy ground this year and best watched back on the AW.
Four-time winner on the AW and heads here off the back of a first turf win. Has form here and remains 3lb below last AW win. Remains on an attractive mark and highly likely to go close again.
Five time C&D winner and back on last winning mark from March. Back to form when close in a stronger race here last time so hard to discount his chances once again.
C&D winner this time last year off 8lb higher and left three poor turf runs behind when going a close third back here this month. That level of form though would still need considerably improving on back in a handicap.
C&D winner last November off 6lb lower. Better returning to the AW but still needs to leave two poor turf runs behind, including in a seller last time.
Won back-to-back wins at Kempton and Chelmsford in April and not far off that level off 1lb higher than this mark on her two runs since. Cheekpieces added and likely to be competitive again.
Has struggled at big prices in five starts to date with his handicap debut (well held) fourth close to his best effort. Lightly raced but more needed to get into the money.
Sole win from 27 starts came on the AW in Ireland over this trip and off 3lb higher. Latest four starts for this yard though have been very poor and percentage call is to oppose.
Forecasts
Kodiline (5/2), Ghazan (11/2), Sonnet Rose (13/2), Art Echo (10/1), Gunmaker (10/1), Gavi Di Gavi (12/1), Grey Destiny (12/1), Fantastic Flyer (14/1), Majdool (14/1), Weloof (14/1), Shortbackandsides (33/1), Deleyll (33/1)
SONNET ROSE is very nicely handicapped and following a turf win looks the one to side with back on a preferred AW surface. Kodiline was a very good second last time and is a big danger off this mark. Grey Destiny has strong C&D form and has to be considered after a back to form run.
- Sonnet Rose
