Struggled to make an impact in decent company since winning at Pontefract last summer but will appreciate this ease in grade. Possible the fitting of a hood will sharpen her up and the rider's claim helps at the weights.
Missed her juvenile season but made up for lost time with a couple of wins last month and is thriving on being kept busy. Another who may be assisted by the first-time headgear after a lacklustre effort last time. The betting can guide.
Out of form in both starts this season and needs the cheekpieces to prompt a big turnaround; on a handy enough mark but needs to bounce back from two moderate efforts.
Best with a bit of give underfoot and looked in need of the run when held at Newbury on her seasonal bow earlier this month. Improvement required to recapture last season's winning formula and still looks high in the weights.
A consistent filly, yet is still on an attractive mark and will appreciate the return to 6f after a near miss over the extended minimum trip at Bath last time out. The jockey knows her well and another bold bid can be expected.
Has form to reverse with More Than Likely but dropped 3lb since they met at Wolverhampton last month. Still open to improvement but her best performances have come on the AW so far.
Not won since her racecourse debut last April but was faced with some stiff tests last season. Held on her seasonal bow at York in May but holds several entries this week and will be interesting if she's kept on the on.
Forecasts
Philipine Cobra (6/4), More Than Likely (7/2), Sweet Pursuit (11/2), Always A Drama (7/1), Daphinia (7/1), Zain Hana (10/1), Elizabeth Bennet (25/1)
The consistent MORE THAN LIKELY has a race like this within her and she can confirm recent AW form with Always A Drama now she's back on a surface that should hold no fears for the filly. Daphinia has faced some stiff tests before now but may be sharper now she's got her seasonal debut out of the way. She holds a number of entries this week, which suggests she's raring to go and might just be up to giving the the selection the most to think about. Philipine Cobra and Zain Hana both race in hoods for the first time and are worth monitoring in the betting for signs of anticipated improvement.
- More Than Likely
- Daphinia
- Always A Drama
