€20,000 yearling out of a modest sprinter who is a half-sister to 1m Group 3 winner Haami; the trip might be a problem but her yard is going well so she's still worth a check in the betting market.
A half-sister to a 1m winner on the AW whose dam won over a mile... also related to a good handful of decent types that were effective between 6f and 1m2f. Appeals on pedigree and runs for a yard that has turned the corner lately. One to consider.
12,000 gns yearling; a half-sister to six winners between 7f and 1m4f; her dam was placed at Group level and stayed well over 7f during her time. Yard very quite just now.
€13,000 yearling that is a half-sister to to 2m hurdle winner Lace Bonnet, and Solan, a winner over 1m on the dirt in the USA. Debut run was highly satisfactory and she's likely to be a lot wiser now. (That form isn't working out though.)
£5,000 daughter of Slade Power out of an Approved mare; her dam won over 6f as a two-year-old and is a half-sister to Fort Bastion, a winner from 6f to a mile. Yard highly respected with sprinters and noted for a patient approach. Betting can guide.
Debut run was promising but the filly took a step backwards at Newbury last time (plenty to find with I Had A Dream on that form) Possible she had an excuse as she met trouble twice in that race. Another to monitor in the betting.
Has C&D experience but has been well held twice already and comes back here with a bit to prove. Will probably do better in handicaps later in the season; stable also runs Woodsmokehill, who looks more intriguing at this stage.
Cost just £2,000 and is out of a 1m winner who is a sister to 7f juvenile winner Commentary; makes limited appeal on this occasion.
Cost just £2,5000 and is out of a French 1m winner; related to a handful of winners on the dirt in the USA but is likely to benefit greatly from this debut run. Others more interesting just for the time being.
Cost just 1,000 gns but ran a blinder to finish second on debut over 6f at Newbury last month. The Requinto filly missed the break but recovered well to stay on near the finish. The drop to 5f would be compromised by another slow start.
Debut run was promising and well above the 100/1 expectations of the betting market. Didn't make much progress next time out but at least it wasn't a step backwards; more needed and will be interesting to see how she fares in handicaps after this.
€5,000 yearling out of a 1m-1m4f winner and is a half-sister to 7f Group 3 winner Queen Catrine; yard back among the winners but this filly makes limited appeal in being introduced over the minimum trip.

The booking of Sylvester De Sousa is a positive move for I HAD A DREAM and, having shown a willing attitude on debut, she gets the nod in preference to debutantes Woodsmokehill and Power Packed, who are both interesting contenders running for yards that are very capable of producing a first-time out winner. Mitty's Smile ran well on debut but the form has taken a few knocks since, so might just be better judged when tacking handicaps.
