Has been running consistently well this season. She stepped up to Listed company last time at Chemlsford (7f) where she was 11th of 14. Back down in class here where she is very capable at this level.
Broke her maiden here over 7f at the back end of last year and then was third of eight at this track in a Group Three contest. She has been well held so far this season as she has struggled off her mark. Has been eased 2lb but others are preferred.
Has won twice over this C&D in her last two visits here. In her last appearance at this track, she made all to score by 5L in an emphatic victory. Has gone up 8lb for that success so this is a tougher assignment but she is a leading player.
Has been in excellent form recently with two wins coming at Chepstow in her last three starts. Travelled across to Ireland for her last run where she finished fifth of 12 at the Curragh over 6f. Has been dropped 2lb. One to consider.
Has a fantastic strike-rate on turf with fours wins from eight starts. Was successful at Windsor (6f) two runs back, while on her previous appearance, she was 12th of 14 in a Listed race at Chelmsford (7f) on the AW. One to consider at this level.
Lightly-raced filly who has scored twice on the AW, while on her previous outing, she was second of 10 at Chelsmford (6f). In her one run on turf so far, she was sixth of seven here over 6f. Open to improvement so one to watch.
Ended last year with success on the AW at Kempton (6f) but has been regressing since. She was third of seven last time at Newbury (6f) in what was a modest run. Looks to be back down to a mark where she has to be respected from.
Was successful three times last season at this distance. Has been below her best in the latest campaign, including previous run where she was eighth of 10 at Chelmsford (6f) on the AW when going off at the 7/2 favourite. Needs to bounce back.
Scored for the first time on turf on her latest start at Newbury (6f) where she finished strongly inside the closing stages to prevail by 3L. Up 8lb for that success but open to improvement. One for shortlist.
Currently in-foal. She produced a career-best last time at Pontefract (6f) where she was successful by a neck in a six runner field. Gone up just 1lb so has an opportunity to follow it up. Goes into this with a decent chance.
Forecasts
Belated Breath (5/1), Lady Dancealot (5/1), Furious (6/1), Goodnight Girl (13/2), Sunday Star (7/1), Shorter Skirt (7/1), Emily Goldfinch (9/1), Cale Lane (10/1), Bungee Jump (12/1), Indian Tygress (14/1)
EMILY GOLDFINCH is steadily progressing up the weights following two victories over this C&D and although she has gone up 8lb for her latest success, the manner of the win suggests this is within her reach. Lady Dancealot is much better than her performances this season and off this latest mark, she should be in the mix, while Bungee Jump should not be ignored on his return to the UK after a modest effort at the Curragh last time.
- Emily Goldfinch
- Lady Dancealot
- Bungee Jump
