Smart performer (three-time juvenile winner at up to 6f); best run this year over 7f on this course backing up a good reappearance run. Both runs since have been below-par (had excuses for one of them), can't be ignored; tough task off this weight.
Yet to try 6f (all three wins at 5f) having shown much improved form to score on his seasonal reappearance (off 6lb lower). Produced a classy effort back in handicaps last time after flying too high in Listed grade; will appreciate the quick surface.
Useful performer who struck in Listed grade as a juvenile (one of his three wins); hasn't quite shown the same verve this year. Dropped into a red-hot handicap for his debut in that sphere last time, finished well held off a 2lb higher mark.
Started this season where he left off last running well at Doncaster before taking a top-class 3yo handicap over 6f (Rowley Mile). Didn't quite do that form justice last time at York versus four of today's rivals; type to bounce back here though.
Saw plenty of racing as a juvenile (won once over 5f) twice running well over this C&D. Best runs this year have come since being gelded over 7f, work to do with a couple of these on a previous run here; can be excused below-par start last time.
Failed to win as a juvenile but looked far more the finished article this year (had been gelded) when winning his opening two contests over 6f (one a handicap off 6lb lower). Didn't do himself justice at York last time, fading late on over this trip.
Returns to turf after a couple of AW starts at longer trips than he faces today; second when making the running at Newcastle last time over 7f. Now reverts to 6f for the first time since his juvenile debut, looks summed up by his handicap mark.
Made all for his three wins the latest coming on his debut turf start on the Rowley Mile in April (6lb lower); looked to be still improving. Subsequent two starts haven't quite gone to plan (better than they suggest); tough task to dominate here.
Put his experience to good use when winning on the AW (7f) as a juvenile; two starts this year haven't quite lived up to that level. Got worked out prior to his seasonal debut, then did a little too much over 6f last time; needs to settle better.
Makes a quick return having been a good second over 7f at Sandown recently, prior to that producing a sound third at York in a top-class 3yo 6f handicap. Has won over 6f; may be more at home over 7f though, due to go up 6lb in the handicap.
Twice a winner this year at 7f, stamping his authority on a race at Chester last time having previously finished a creditable fourth over 7f here. Didn't look at ease on the track then, will need a very strong pace to be effective back at 6f.
Kept busy as a juvenile (2-11) mostly in decent company; yet to score this year in six starts; given a rare try over 5f last time (shaped better than the result). His 6f form is sound enough but he does look exposed now; vulnerable to improvers.
Lightly raced as a juvenile (won over 6f) he's progressing well this year with three runs (all of which showed promise) prior to his Nottingham 6f soft ground win. Quickened up like a good horse there, should be suited by this test off 5lb higher.
Highlighted the good recent form of her yard with a career-best Doncaster 6f win (visored for the first-time) off a 5lb lower mark last time. Had a good strike-rate as a juvenile (4-9, includes a C&D win), likeable sort; needs to step up again.
Opened his three-year-old account with a Thirsk win and swiftly followed up at Haydock off a 6lb higher mark (both wins at 6f). Ran well in pursuit of the hat-trick at Ripon before his good run of form came to a halt last time; faces a tougher task.
The sole handicap newcomer in the field he comes here off a winning stable/GB debut having taken a minor AW event last time over 6f by 4L (made all). Should have something to offer in handicaps although this is a tough gig first time up.
Just one juvenile win to his name (5f) and he's run two of his three races at that trip this year; both of a similar performance level. Has placed form at 6f; needs to reverse form with a couple of these from last time; tongue-tie goes on.
Progressive sort; improved with every start this year (once-raced as a juvenile). Easy initial Doncaster 5f win being followed up at Ripon last time over the same trip (second handicap run); has to prove himself at 6f though.
Emphatic winner on handicap debut appreciating the quick surface he was asked to race on at Nottingham (second run back from a wind op). Easy to back last time he failed to follow up off 8lb more at Windsor; faces a tougher test in this.
Most consistent since joining this yard looking progressive in her two wins the best of which came over 6f at York (made all). Not beaten far over 5f here last time chasing a hat-trick holding her own in this grade, will appreciate the return to 6f.

Magical Wish (7/2), Dazzling Dan (7/1), Moss Gill (8/1), Princess Power (10/1), Aplomb (10/1), Rathbone (12/1), Kinks (14/1), Top Breeze (16/1), Jack's Point (16/1), Woven (16/1), Blown By Wind (16/1), Almufti (20/1), Pass The Vino (25/1), Philipine Cobra (25/1), Alfie Solomons (25/1), Gabrial The Wire (25/1), Street Parade (25/1), Barbill (33/1), Benny And The Jets (33/1), Look Out Louis (33/1)
Not an easy event to solve and whilst likely favourite Aplomb has claims, favourites have a poor record in this race. Seven of the last 16 winners began the season as maidens pointing to the sharply progressive nature of the winners and there are five qualifiers amongst this field with Moss Gill being the best of them although he has to prove himself at 6f. Perhaps most important is the York handicap that has produced five of the last six winners with Magical Wish and DAZZLING DAN being two to note from that contest this year. Street Parade and Gabrial The Wire are two others for consideration in a cracking contest.
- Dazzling Dan
- Moss Gill
- Street Parade
