Sister to the 5f-6f winner Holmeswood; has her issues with the stalls (twice withdrawn) but also ability; kept on strongly when winning by 1¾L at Newcastle (6f) last November; off since; set to make her turf debut with a penalty.
Cost £190,000 as a juvenile; made his debut at this track (fifth) four weeks prior to winning in the style of a promising horse on the AW at Kempton (7f); that form has been boosted since by the placed horses; very much respected.
Five-race maiden who will surely break his duck sooner or later; runner-up on both starts this season (gelded over the winter), including when beaten a neck by Ejtilaab over C&D 12 days ago; solid chance.
€29,000 yearling; has shown only limited promise in two starts to date (5f-6f) and is projected to struggle against these rivals; handicapping surely awaits.
Second foal from a moderate dam who was a half-sister to the 6f Group 3 winner Jack Dexter; brother to the 5f AW winner Lord Of The Glen; should be winning his fair share of races further down the line.
Iffraaj colt from the 5f-6f Listed winner Fig Roll; cost £190,000 as a yearling; beaten 4½L by a ready winner on Windsor debut (6f, good to firm) 11 days ago, but there were plenty of positives to take from that performance.
€420,000 yearling; kept on promisingly for hands and heels riding on debut at Newbury (7f) in May but couldn't build positively on that effort when a beaten 6-4f at Newmarket (1m) 19 days ago; dropped in trip is probably capable of better.
Inexpensive yearling (€1,000); sold for 25-times that amount as a juvenile; eighth foal; sister to the 5f AW winner Spirit Power and a half-sister to two other winners; kick-offs her racing career in a very competitive race.
Captain Gerrard filly; sister to the 5f-6f AW winner Gorgeous General; showed pace over C&D latest before weakening; has work to do with Crantock Bay; others rate as far more likely contenders.

Forecasts
Crantock Bay (6/4), Tipperary Jack (11/4), Majaalis (7/2), Grisons (6/1), Thirlmere (20/1), Blank Canvas (28/1), Inn With The Gin (50/1), Gorgeous Gobolina (80/1), Gleniffer (100/1), George Thomas (100/1)
MAJAALIS shaped well on debut at Newbury when keeping on for hands and heels riding to finish fifth (beaten approx 6L) to the subsequent Britannia Stakes winner Biometric, so it was disappointing when he took a backward step over 1m at Newmarket on his next start. However, as a brother to the 5½f French Group 3 winner High Celebrity he should possess the weapons in his armoury to cope with this drop back in trip and is probably worth chancing as a result. Notable dangers include the C&D proven Crantock Bay, and the impressive Kempton winner Tipperary Jack who is very much respected for the Kent-based trainer John Best.
