Both career wins have come on turf, the latest of which came in September off a 1lb higher mark. Should get competitive in a race of this nature given his current rating.
Won two consecutive races last year off a 2lb lower mark but the daughter of Mayson has shown little or no aptitude in three efforts this season to be considered in this company.
Showed very little in the way of ability in four career starts for trainer George Baker when last seen in November 2017. Best watched on return to action unless the market has other ideas.
Now entering the veteran stages of his career the gelding is still racing 3lb higher than his last winning mark received here over C&D in August. May need a little cut in the ground but can still hold his own in this company.
Landed his second win on turf at Down Royal last month beating Canford Art by a neck over a similar trip off a 4lb lower mark. Both wins have come at the same venue and off marks in the lower 50's. Daughter of Dandy Man faces her toughest test here.
Has continued to improve throughout the season, running with credit in defeat at this venue and in a 6½f handicap last month. Racing 22lb lower than last winning mark is a concern.
C&D winner of a 15-runner handicap last month off a 5lb lower mark. Creditable efforts since including at last week's Bellewstown meeting take nothing away from the chances of the daughter of Dandy Man in this contest.
Winner of three of his 23 starts on turf with the Kodiac gelding's last win coming 12 months ago when in the hands of trainer Roger Fell off a 17lb lower mark. Looks up against it here.
Has disappointed in four starts last month over a variety of trips. Well down the field in a Bellewstown 1m handicap last week the Society Rock gelding looks no nearer to breakthrough success.
14-race maiden who has failed to hit the frame in 10 starts on turf. Left with plenty to prove on the balance of his form including on return to action at Sligo last month.
Produced a career best in a Fairyhouse claimer when last seen in May finishing 4½L adrift of the winner over 1m2f on good to firm ground. No surprise to see the Dandy Man gelding improve again.
Nine-race maiden yet to hit the frame in six starts on turf. No extra when under pressure over 1f at Bellewstown this week finishing sixth of 15 beaten 10L behind Ally Cay. Others more compelling.
Sent off a big prices in a number of starts since May and generally well held until showing improvement in a Sligo 6f handicap last month. Seven race maiden remains with plenty to prove.
Seven-race maiden still looking for a breakthrough success in three starts on turf. Tailed off at Bellewstown in the week and first time cheekpieces inconceivable to produce the required amount of development needed to play a role here.
Forecasts
Very Smart (4/1), Procurator (5/1), Piper Bomb (11/2), Kody Ridge (13/2), Caesar's Comet (10/1), Tuamhain (11/1), Adapt To Dan (14/1), Beau Rocko (14/1), Dash To Celebrate (16/1), Hatton Cross (16/1), Storm Blitz (20/1), Building Year (33/1), Prime Chief (40/1), Tessiesee (66/1)
The Denis Hogan-trained CAESARS COMET can land a third career win following a number of solid and consistent efforts when last seen in May. The Acclamation gelding can defy top weight getting the better of stablemate, Adapt To Dan who can go well at a price and C&D winner Piper Bomb who ran a good race behind Blankiedoodie at Bellewstown last week.
- Caesar's Comet
- Adapt To Dan
- Piper Bomb
