C&D winner, bolting up by 6L here last year. Inconsistent throughout this campaign though and well beaten in Listed company at Salisbury last time. Opposable from above his highest winning handicap mark.
Generally in good form this season and posted a respectable effort in defeat when beaten just 3½L at Royal Ascot last week in a competitive handicap. Probably a shade vulnerable from this mark at present.
Posted a respectable effort when fifth of 21 here last month and left with too much to do at Royal Ascot last week. 2lb drop for that could be lenient and he gets his optimum ground/trip here. May do better.
Has won twice already this year, most recently a C&D winner back in May with some of these in behind. Disappointed at Ascot from his revised mark but his career best efforts have come here and he's not one to dismiss.
Won twice over the minimum trip last season and while he's yet to win over this trip, it was an excellent effort in defeat in last year's Steward's Cup. May have needed his comeback run and back on a lenient mark here.
Won his maiden over 7f here. Hasn't won on turf since but fast ground would suit and he's not been beaten far in his last couple of starts. Not dismissed if he can build on his latest outing.
Very well-handicapped on old form but failed to build on his return effort at Doncaster when beaten a long way at Royal Ascot last time. Clearly well-handicapped on his best efforts but not one to rely on in recent years.
Hasn't won since his debut success at Nottingham. Has fallen to a nice handicap mark as a result and running well in defeat of late, most recently when third of 20 (7f) here. Live player if he improves for the drop back in trip.
On a losing run for more than two years. Has shown a bit more consistency in three starts this year but looks in need of a bit more relief from the handicapper here.
C&D winner here last year and tends to save his best for this track. A return to form looks imminent after a solid effort here last time but probably needs softer ground to be seen at his best. Well handicapped if he handles conditions.
Rattled off a hat-trick at the start of last year's campaign and only narrowly denied over C&D in his four-timer bid. Hasn't won since and while he's back below his last winning handicap mark, he's probably better at 5f.
At his best with cut in the ground on turf, as seen when winning at Ripon earlier in the campaign. Well beaten here last time though and hasn't won from a mark this high; opposable given he's unlikely to get his ground here.
Losing run goes all the way back to a Listed race back in 2016. Has run well in defeat since then, as seen ½L behind Hyperfocus at Ripon two starts back. Handicapper trying to give him a chance but clearly not reliable these days.
C&D winner. Hasn't won since 2017 but shaped like a return to form may not be too far away when fourth of 20 here last time (beaten 4L). Well-handicapped if he can build on that here.
Won twice last year for John Gosden and ran well on his first two starts for this yard before a very disappointing effort when favourite last time out. Probably worth forgiving that run and generally a consistent sort.
Pontefract (6f) winner as a juvenile and won over the same C&D on return in April. Well beaten over C&D last time out and while he's less exposed than most, others make more appeal.
C&D winner last year and has won two of his six starts this time around. However, yet to win from a handicap mark this high and looks down the order on jockey bookings here.
Won twice over this trip on fast ground last year. Back on his last winning handicap mark and may come on for his debut/seasonal reappearance at Newmarket last time out. Interesting runner despite being 1lb wrong at the weights.

INTISAAB wasn't seen to best effect at Royal Ascot last time out but he's feasibly handicapped and ran well when fifth over course and distance prior to that run. Don Armado may be able to bounce back to form from his reduced handicap mark while it's too soon to be writing off Jawwaal after a below par effort last time. Justanotherbottle is another to consider and he may have needed his comeback run last time out.
