Won in bad ground at the big May meeting here in first time visor though not quite in same form since and possible the headgear novelty has worn off having tried cheek pieces on latest.
Nottingham win over 1m2f on soft ground last backend but has shown virtually nothing in three runs this term and plenty to prove now.
Won with something to spare in similar event on good ground here a month ago and may have found ground too testing when fourth in better race since. Also entered 8-40 here Friday.
Was well regarded as a juvenile but apart from a head second in a Newmarker maiden hasn't shown on the track what he obviously shows at home. Maybe this step up in trip on good ground is what he wants.
Solid enough form on the AW earlier in the campaign at this trip. Turf debut at Haydock can be forgiven as it was heavy ground and not one to rule out on the back of that effort.
Developed into a fair handicapper at around this trip in 2017 but not seen much since though first run after a year off at Hamilton last month was fairly encouraging. Claims if able to build on that.
Saddle slipped early and pulled up on Tuesday. Shock winner on AW prior to that but turf form looks ordinary and more required to get off the mark on this surface.

Gabrial The One (11/8), Super Kid (5/2), Paradise Boy (7/2), James Park Woods (7/2), Cape Islay (6/1), Heart Of Soul (8/1), Raven's Raft (14/1), Overhaugh Street (20/1), Ice Canyon (33/1)
Three-year-olds have won the last 2 runnings of this race and back on a sound surface GABRIAL THE ONE could be the one to keep that run going. James Park Woods hasn't lived up to early expectations but may be capable of better now going up to this trip while Paradise Boy could complete the clean sweep for the classic brigade.
