A mare who has won 50% of her AW starts (5-10); 3lb lower than when beating today's rival Dandy's Beano by ½L in this race 12 months ago; finished in mid-pack over 6f at Ayr last Saturday.
Yet to sample the delights of AW racing, but is already a dual winner in 2019 scoring at Ripon (6f, good) and Carlisle (6f, heavy); 6lb above her last winning mark; finished a respectable third at Nottingham (6f, soft) latest.
Comfortable debut winner (5f, Lingfield novice); pitched in very deep in the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes on seasonal reappearance; back on track at Windsor (5f, good to firm) latest when beaten a neck by Celtic Manor; chance on handicap debut.
Yet to win on the AW (0-4); now 6lb lower than when beaten ½L by today's rival Oriental Lilly in this race 12 months ago; always handy against the stands side rail when scoring over 5f at Thirsk (good to soft) in May.
A winner of three of her five starts for Ingoe-based trainer Karen McLintock, getting the ball rolling in a Class 6 C&D handicap in March; continues to climb the weights, 3lb higher than when beaten approx 1½L (fourth) at Hamilton (5f, soft) latest.
Her best form is on deep ground (turf); 3lb lower than when making all to beat Pendleton by 2¼L at Ayr (6f, soft) last October; hasn't really kicked on from a fair Doncaster comeback third, so others make more appeal.
An honest and consistent filly who clearly appreciates racing on Tapeta (is effective at Newcastle and Wolverhampton); also versatile in terms of trip (5f-6f); 2lb above her last winning mark and this looks to be a competitive race for the grade.
Left Simon Crisford for 11,000gns in May 2019; makes her debut for a trainer known to target this three-day festival of racing; remains relatively unexposed in handicap company (has made just the single start); is Tapeta proven; cheekpieces on.
Won back-to-back Class 6 6f handicaps at Wolverhampton in January, and is by no means harshly handicapped; slowly away yet finished well when a 5L runner up to Afandem at Carlisle (5f, heavy) last month; others speedier?

Oriental Lilly (7/2), Mercenary Rose (9/2), Everkyllachy (9/2), Lady Calcaria (11/2), Dandy's Beano (6/1), Roys Dream (6/1), Klopp (8/1), Santafiora (14/1), Epona (16/1), Hanati (33/1)
A very difficult fillies' handicap with last year's first and second Oriental Lilly and Dandy's Beano recommencing battle. The majority have been running very well of late and plenty also have previous C&D winning form, including the reliable duo Everkyllachy and Klopp. Roy's Dream made the long journey down to Bath for her seasonal reappearance, returning north with the spoils and it should be re-iterated that she also holds an entry at Hamilton Park on Thursday (9.05pm). However, the selection for small stakes is the noteworthy handicap debutante MERCENARY ROSE. She contested the Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket (7f) in April.
- Mercenary Rose
- Oriental Lilly
- Santafiora
