One of two runners in the line-up for Jessica Harrington. Most exposed in this race and she isn't really progressing at all. Others are open to improve past her. Place claims at best.
Cost a mere 1,000gns as a foal. By Bated Breath. Watching brief advised on debut unless the market was to speak volumes in favour of her.

Made her debut at Gowran Park (1m; heavy) last September in a maiden won by Epsom Oaks second Pink Dogwood. Major player if able to improve upon that run, and she could be a better filly as a three-year-old.
Dansili filly. Made E160,000 as a yearling. Is related to a few winners but stable form tempers enthusiasm. This isn't a great race though and she could well have enough to ability to feature on debut.

Would be a major shock if she was to run well in this contest after faring terribly on both starts to date. Wasn't even able to complete last time when pulled-up at Navan (1m2f; good to yielding) and best to look elsewhere.

Maiden who was behind Mater Matuta when the pair met at Leopardstown last time. Could reverse the form but is exposed at this trip and doesn't make much appeal until entering handicaps.

Palavicini filly. Closely related to a couple of winners. Yard can ready a newcomer and she could go close on debut if straight enough to do herself justice.

Steps up to 1m for the first time after finishing third in a fair maiden at Leopardstown (7f; good) last time. Solid each-way prospect if reproducing that effort but future seems to lie more in handicaps.

Hard to believe how disappointing she has been for leading connections in three starts to date. Returns to 1m for the first time since she made her racecourse debut but others make far greater appeal.

Four-race maiden who is getting better with racing and went close to breaking her duck at Navan (1m2f; good to yielding) recently. Greatly respected now returned to 1m but is vulnerable to improvers.

Verdict

A maiden thin on quality with preference for the Joseph O'Brien-trained EASTER ORCHID. She didn't fare too badly when sixth behind the talented Pink Dogwood in a Gowran Park maiden back in September, and if the break has done her good she should be able to pick this up at the expense of the newcomer New York Ballet. The dam of Edward Lynam's charge is closely related to the smart Star of Seville and this filly wouldn't have to be a world beater to go close on debut for connections. Simply Beautiful is improving with every start and should have no problems proving best of the rest, even if she is vulnerable to less exposed types.
