Bated Breath filly who cost 25,000gns as a yearling recover from a slow start to finish third of five on debut at Bath over 5f. Looked like she would appreciate an extra 1f there so one worth considering now.
€28,000 yearling newcomer by Born To Sea; fourth foal; half-sister to winners Miss Cogent (5f 2yo) and Que Amoro (5f 2yo). Ought to be pretty precocious and given her trainer she leaps to the forefront of the shortlist.
£10,500 yearling by Mustajeeb; seventh foal; half-sister to Group-placed 6f-7f winner Firebeam and 1m winner Bombina. Yard yet to have a two-year-old winner this season but champion jockey a positive signal of intent.
Arguably has the best form on offer by virtue of her third of eight at Goodwood two starts back. Slow starts her Achilles heel however and latest effort at Chepstow again saw her start poorly. Should make the frame; maybe more with level break.
Little positive about her two AW starts to date and can only be watched until signs of ability.
10th of 15 at Leicester did show glimpses of ability where she passed a couple late on after a very poor start. Will have to improve greatly on that effort but could make the frame at a price.
12th of 13 at Lingfield and seventh of nine at Salisbury so far short of the requisite level of form here so others are of greater appeal.
Some promise about her second start when fifth of 14 at Chelmsford beaten 4½L and although this may be deeper she has each-way potential now.
Out of a winning half-sister to useful 2-y-o 5f winner Anticipated. Better than bare result when 8¾L last of 9 to Grove Ferry at Salisbury, and likely to do much better at some point. Stiff task here, all the same.
Attractively bred daughter of Morpheus shaped with potential when a never nearer fourth of 14 at Chelmsford on debut over 6f (Lethal Talent fifth). Should improve for that and looks one for the shortlist.

As the most expensive purchase and hailing from the most prolific yard there are many positives about debutante PRETTY PICKLE here and in a race where those to have raced are mostly quite ordinary she looks the one to beat. Thrice-raced Twice As Likely looks the form standard and she will almost certainly go close. The Blue Bower ran well enough on debut to also be worth respect.
