Didn't run too badly when fourth at Doncaster last time over 1m but gave the impression the return to this shorter trip is what he wants and dangerous back down in grade. Best form is on soft and a major player if the rain arrives.
Fair handicapper at this trip in 2017 including wins at Musselburgh and Pontefract but was absent for nearly two years before finishing down the field on York comeback and this run should tell us more.
His wins in 2018 were gained here and at Catterick on good to firm but both at 5f. Yet to race at this trip and has to prove the ability is still there after two poor efforts this term.
Well backed for reappearance over C&D last month and justified the support with an all the way success. More on form today's unfavourable draw but only 4lb higher and any rain that falls would be to advantage.
Running well this term and once again showed his liking for Brighton when scoring emphatically there recently. All ground comes alike and 8lb higher today with cheek pieces now added.
Did too much too soon in the first time blinkers over 1m at Pontefract. Headgear retained here and drop down a furlong in his favour.
Has just the three maiden runs to his name and the best of those was the second one when a close fourth at Wolverhampton in November. Off the track since the following month but yard in form and market should give guide as to what is expected.
Two wins last summer were at this trip at Ayr but in lesser grade and work on to deal with these better rivals from unfavourable draw.
Led and raced keenly in three maidens in the winter showing some ability. Now back after 5 months break in which she has had a wind operation. Hood on for handicap debut and market should be informative.
Veteran who landed this in 2015 and boasts 15 top three finishes at the track from 37 starts. Back on last winning mark though any rain could be a problem as all wins have been gained on sound surface.
Both wins this term gained at 6f and possible that now is his optimum trip. Yet to win in eight visits here and widest draw to deal with as well.
Just the sole career win to his name though in really good heart at present hitting the frame last three starts. This a stronger race and although a touch more needed has each way claims in current mood.
Lightly raced and although he wasn't beaten that far last week, he was still only eighth of 10 and likely to be of more appeal when dropped in class.

The ground conditions could change and if the rain does arrive INTENSE STYLE would be of interest down in grade and now back at his optimum distance. Any softening of the ground would also be to the liking of Keepup Kevin who bids to follow up his course success a moth ago while Harvest Day won't mind what the weather does and looks a solid each way alternative.
