Superbly-bred colt who looked a serious prospect when winning 19-runner maiden at Newbury (1¼m) by 2L from High Commissioner. Placed horses have failed to frank that form, but he still looks hard to beat here.
Farhh half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 1m Billingsgate. Faces quite a stiff introduction, and probably best watched as a result.
By Sea The Stars out of a winning half-sister to smart 6f winner Thewayiam, out of unraced half-sister to 1992 champion two-year-old Tenby. Already gelded, but in excellent hands, so not taken lightly on debut.
Never a factor on debut here when getting worked up, and similar form when fourth of 12 to Velorum in a 1m novice at Yarmouth. Edgy sort, and may benefit from the fitting of a visor, but handicaps a better option after this.
Half-brother to several winners, including 2-y-o 7f winner Minidress and 1¼m winner Movie Set, both useful. Did well given how green he was when third at Chelmsford in February, and sure to improve markedly, so respected.
Out of a half-sister to Derby winner Kris Kin, and didn't shape badly when keeping on into mid-division on debut at Nottingham in May. Below that form at Haydock last time, and the type to do better when handicapping after another qualifying run.
The form of his Newbury maiden win hasn't worked out as well as expected, but LOGICIAN still looks a decent prospect and he can take this on his way to better things. Persuading could be the one to throw down the biggest challenge, while Look Closely is an interesting newcomer and needs monitoring in the market.
