Bred to be effective at this trip but debut run (over 6f) hardly created the impression the daughter of Dandy Man will be suited by a sterner test of stamina. Plenty to prove and looks the type to do better once she contests handicaps later on.
A half-sister to 7f-1m winner Janna's Jingle and Silaro, a winner at up to 1m3f in Italy; likely to be sharper for the experience and will be easier to assess once she's got some experience behind her.
Her yard won this race with an outsider in 2017 but this filly has an attractive enough pedigree to suggest she can make an impact at the first time of asking. Stable going well and has to merit consideration.

Cost just €2,500 and has been well beaten in both previous tarts; a big step forward is required.

€38,000 yearling that is related to a good handful of winners; wasn't given a hard time when it was obvious she wasn't going to make a successful debut at Fairyhouse; should be wiser here and merits a betting check at least.

€1,000 yearling that is a half-sister to a winning miler in Ireland and Qatar, as well as Diviner, a 5f winner as juvenile, and King Of Scotland, who win over 1m4f; best watched on debut over this intermediate trip.
Well beaten in a 6f maiden at The Curragh (the winner has gone in again since) but only modest improvement shown over C&D last week; needs to go through the gears quickly and is another who will do better in handicaps by the look of things.
Yard very capable of having one primed and this daughter of the mighty Teofilo, who did so well in these same family colours, has to merit respect. (Her dam a relative of Royal Academy and Storm Cat, so is an influence for dirt racing in the USA. )
A half-sister to several winners including Intiwin, victorious at 7f-1m, and Daisy Boy, who won at 1m5f; yard is very quiet just now. Being by a Rainbow Quest mare, she is likely to cope with give underfoot, so fast ground not ideal.

Forecasts

Silent Look (13/8), Princess Mayson (11/4), Ha'penny Bridge (9/2), Chrysalism (5/1), Getawiggleon (7/1), Sailing South (7/1), Motown Magic (12/1), Sweet Justice (14/1), Bellsinthewood (14/1), Andar Avanti (20/1)

Verdict

It will be interesting to see how much interest SAILING SOUTH attracts on her debut run but she's attractively-bred and is introduced at a modest level. Chrysalism follows a trusted path set out by her trainer and is another well-bred newcomer to bear in mind; while Ha'penny Bridge has the benefit of a run behind her and is worth checking out in the betting. As is Princess Mayson even though she has improvement to find. Silent Look is also respected but is up in trip and is so far untested on turf.
  1. Sailing South
  2. Chrysalism
  3. Ha'penny Bridge
