Improved from AW starts to land Cork handicap before slightly disappointing when fourth of eight at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) on latest start. On the same handicap mark, but can't be ruled out for powerful connections.

Shed her maiden tag at the ninth attempt when just getting up on the line at Listowel (1m, yielding) two weeks ago. Unraced at this distance and pedigree suggests she won't stay, but will appreciate the likely conditions.

Got off the mark at the third attempt in Dundalk AW maiden in April before finishing fourth in both outings since. Didn't stay in last race at Navan (1m2f, good to yielding) and may appreciate the drop back in trip. Each-way claims.

Six-race maiden who has ran some creditable races in defeat this year, including recent fifth of 17 at Cork (1m½f) in April. Dropped 1lb for that effort and has a good chance of getting off the mark if he gets luck in running.

Improved from seasonal debut to finish second of 12 at Down Royal (1m2½f, good to yielding) last month. Winner of that race looked to be a smart prospect, and is a leading contender dropping back down in trip.

Ran career best to finish runner-up in 1m2f handicap (Navan, yielding) in April. Hasn't been since and raised 8lb for that effort, but will appreciate the likely ground conditions. Interesting contender.

Left behind two-year-old and early season form behind him when producing best run of career to finish third at Roscommon (1m2f, soft) behind Heavenly Snow. Needs to improve to the standard of that rival to be competitive.

Showed no signs of form in first three starts before finishing third of 18 in handicap debut at Navan (1m, good to yielding) just over two weeks ago. However, needs to find more on that form and second choice for yard on jockey bookings.

Six-race maiden who has disappointed since promising debut behind 2000 Guineas winner Magna Grecia. Showed some signs of a revival when third at Down Royal last month in which Winiata was second. More needed to have a chance.

Winner of two of her three starts this season, including when running out a ready winner of Cork handicap (1m2½f) last month. Raised 9lb for that success and will be facing higher-class opposition, but dangerous to rule out.

Six-race maiden who has shown plenty of promise when placed in last two starts, including over C&D. Needs to find more improvement, but only raised 1lb for that effort and not one to discredit.

Some solid AW efforts last year but ran modest on seasonal reappearance at Navan (1m, good to yielding) at the start of the month. Likely to find a few too good and makes limited appeal.

Forecast

Red Gerry (5/2), Heavenly Snow (5/1), Isotope (7/1), Olympic Honour (8/1), Scorched Earth (8/1), Rehoboth Beach (8/1), Conor Hogan (9/1), Pearlman (9/1), Winiata (10/1), Lyrical Attraction (10/1), Marshall Law (10/1), Engles Rock (14/1), Landing Zone (14/1), Imposing Supreme (16/1)

Verdict

HEAVENLY SNOW looked to have progressed drastically for her handicap debut last time out and despite racing off a 7lb higher mark, this daughter of Australia could have the necessary improvement needed to win, especially if she could gain an easy lead in front. Lyrical Attraction won well at Cork on her latest start and merits consideration, but needs to prove her ability against stronger opposition this time. Winiata ran a career best last time when her stamina was stretched behind a useful rival and enters each-way calculations back down in trip.
  1. Heavenly Snow
  2. Lyrical Attraction
  3. Winiata
