Three-time winner who is often highly tried, and that was again the case when fifth of 9 to Sharja Bridge in listed race at Doncaster in March. Off since, and others more appealing now.
Very consistent last year and while she wasn't at her best at Doncaster on return, she stepped up when 1¼L third of 6 to Gold Filigree at Ripon last time. Should be on the premises with a repeat, for all she has no secrets from the handicapper.
Improved to win over 6f at Kempton in November, and belatedly matched that form on turf when third of 7 to Belated Breath at Windsor last time. Goes well for this rider, and no surprise to see her improve further.
Failed to get her head in front last season and has dropped in the handicap accordingly. Has twice run well first time up, so discouraging to see her beat only one home over 7f here last month after an absence.
Won twice in progressive campaign last year, and improved on her reappearance effort when ¾L second of 10 to Machree at Redcar last time. Better than bare result there, and one for the shortlist given how she saw things out there.
Won three times last year, but has offered little in as may outings in 2019, albeit dropping to within 2lb of her latest winning mark. Best watched at present.
Had gone close on first three starts this term, and possibly best to forgive a lesser effort on very soft ground at Goodwood last time when never competitive after taking an early bump.
Won a 5f nurseery here last summer, although hasn't really progressed as expected since, for all she's run perfectly respectably. Behind Pass The Gin when fourth at Chester last time, and needs to step up to turn the tables.
Comfortable winner of 6f novice event at Haydock in September, and while she has failed to improve in two starts at around 1m there this season, she may benefit from a return to sprinting now handicapping. Market useful.
Has progressed with racing, leaving Michael O'Callaghan after second start, and made the most of her experience to win a 5½f novice at Bath last time by 6 lengths from Chil Chil. Penalised for that, but still looks fairly treated on handicap bow.
Forecasts
Pass The Gin (7/2), Lady Dancealot (5/1), Society Queen (5/1), Conga (13/2), Excellent Times (7/1), Philipine Cobra (8/1), Queens Gift (11/1), Hells Babe (12/1), Maggies Angel (18/1), Daffy Jane (25/1)
LADY DANCEALOT ran really well at Windsor last time, and can win races of her current mark if she can curb her enthusiasm slightly. Queen's Gift finished well for second at Redcar last time, and appeals as a big threat, although the consistent Excellent Times should alo be thereabouts, while Conga and Philipine Cobra are handicap debutants who could have more to offer.
- Lady Dancealot
- Queens Gift
- Conga
