A 12L winner when stepped up four furlongs in trip on handicap/seasonal debut at Brighton (1m4f, good) last week; has risen 11lb in the handicap since, but is able to compete today under just a 6lb penalty; strong claims.
Off the mark at the fifth time of asking (his second handicap start) when tackling 1m4f for the first time at Salisbury three weeks ago; 3lb higher, another 2f to contend with, and will encounter very different ground conditions this afternoon.
Is ever so gradually showing small signs of improving with racing; same mark as when beaten 2L by Dorah in a Class 4 fillies' handicap at Leicester (1m4f, good to firm) 18 days ago; tackles a new trip on softer ground.
Started 7/2f, but found today's rival Twenty Years On 1L too good at Salisbury (1m4f, good to firm) three weeks ago; slightly better off at the revised weights and should just about cope with this extra yardage.
It's difficult to state with any real degree of authority that he improved for stepping up in trip at Doncaster (1m4f, good to firm) a fortnight ago, but he was beaten only approximately 2½L in finishing fifth of 12 to West Newton.
3lb lower than when finishing off well (fifth, beaten 5½L) behind today's rivals Twenty Years On and Hummdinger over 1m4f at Salisbury three weeks ago; softer ground and an extra 2f are both possible reasons for her being able to go closer still.
Left John Gosden for £5,500 in January 2019; has toiled in AW handicaps (1m2f-1m4f) for Lee Carter; another 5lb lower; his best run came on soft ground (October 2018); potentially of more interest once fitted with headgear.
Slowly into stride and was keeping on steadily from the rear when finishing runner up on handicap debut at Southwell (1m3f) last month; today's longer trip should theoretically suit, although the actual worth of that form is questionable.
33/1 runner up in a Lingfield seller (1m3½f, good to firm) last month; plenty of work to do with Spargrove on the basis of her earlier Southwell form (a race which is lacking in any real substance in any case).
All downhill since a shock 25/1 winner of a Class 6 handicap at Lingfield (1m4f, standard) in February; on the balance of probability shouldn't be constructively involved; look elsewhere.

Goshen (10/11), Spargrove (9/2), Luck Of Clover (7/1), Hummdinger (10/1), Twenty Years On (11/1), Craneur (12/1), Platform Nineteen (14/1), Spring Run (16/1), Ginge N Tonic (25/1), Alramz (40/1), Enyama (40/1)
Goshen absolutely hacked up at Brighton last week, so under a 6lb penalty (is due an 11lb rise) he'll never have a better chance of following up. However, without a shadow of doubt he'll be over-bet and start at very cramped odds, so we'll seek some each-way value instead. Twenty Years On and Hummdinger filled the first two places in a Class 6 handicap at Salisbury (1m4f) three weeks ago but for those prepared to look in behind, the fifth-placed SPRING RUN was also sticking on with a degree of purpose. Having dropped 3lb in the handicap and now upped in trip to 1m6f on a softer surface, she could feasibly run a big race for the much respected Jonathan Portman.
