Largely consistent but has been expensive to follow lately. Held off this mark when well backed on the AW last time and now has a bit to prove.
Ran well in heavy ground at Carlisle last month and beginning to get the hang of things. Dropped 2lb since but her ability on the predicted going is a useful asset. One to seriously consider if her presence creates a stir in the betting market.
Back up to a career highest mark after winning over 5f (good to firm) here last month; stayed on strongly in the closing stages on that occasion and shouldn't be too inconvenienced by the return to 6f; state of the ground is a concern though.
Starts handicapping on a fair mark after making all to win at Redcar last month and there may be more to come; her yard remains in good form. Another for the shortlist despite this being her debut run in a race of this nature.
Has won on good to soft ground over 5f but lost her way since and recent form has been moderate. Back on a winning mark but poor form figures this season force the eye to look elsewhere.
Still unexposed but has yet to really look like the finished article and might already need to tackle a longer trip. Dropped 2lb since last run but still looks to be of ordinary ability.
0-5 and not made much progress in two starts in handicaps; also has a bit to prove not tried over 6f on ground softer than she's encountered before now.
Not achieved much in three starts but goes handicapping on a workable mark at least. Poor run in a modest event on the AW latest, and needs to prove her well being as she was eased at the half way stage when it was apparent her chance had gone.
Made the most of a drop in the ratings to win at Beverly last month, showing a good attitude in the process. Now 4lb higher, the filly needs to prove that wasn't a one-off performance. Consistency hasn't been her strong point up to press.
Forecasts
Sarasota Bay (2/1), Gleeful (5/2), In Trutina (11/2), All Back To Mine (7/1), Aperitif (12/1), Mrs Worthington (12/1), Mayfair Madame (16/1), Maid From The Mist (20/1), Aegean Mist (20/1)
SARASOTA BAY has been generally consistent and, given that she was unlucky not to break her maiden at Carlisle last time out (beaten by just a neck) the Coach House filly could be very leniently treated from just a 2lb higher mark. All Back To Mine won well over 5f here last time out and merits a check in the betting. She does need to prove her effectiveness on the predicted soft ground though. In Trutina made all at Redcar last month and also merits consideration as she starts her handicap career on a reasonable mark. She too has a question to answer regarding the going.
- Sarasota Bay
- All Back To Mine
- In Trutina
