Hasn't won since 2017 and well beaten in two AW efforts in the spring. Can be slowly away and looks opposable on first start since wind surgery.
Won three times last year but has been off the boil a little this time around. Produced a slightly better effort at Hamilton last time out but this is tougher and he wants quicker ground.
Just one win in 38 starts and that came back in 2013. Very well-handicapped on bits of his form and De Sousa in the saddle is a positive; hardly one to rely on though.
A winner at Thirsk on his second start for this yard and has been running well in defeat since. Left on the same mark after Friday's third at Haydock when favourite and has each-way claims again.
C&D winner back in 2017. Just won once last year but returned to form with an excellent second last time out at Nottingham and remains of interest from this mark on ground she will relish.
Sole win on turf came at Chester (5f) back in 2017. Largely out of form since though and no signs of a revival at Hamilton last time out.
Yet to win in five starts but went close at Wolverhampton last time on debut for this yard. Every chance there's more to come for this outfit and entirely unexposed.
C&D winner. Three wins from 26 starts but just one win from 17 on turf. In poor form in four fights this year and has plenty to prove at present.
Two-time course winner who seems better suited to 6f these days. Good third of 14 at Nottingham last month but disappointed in two subsequent runs; becoming well handicapped.
Has six wins to his name but he's just one win from 31 on turf. Has been running okay in defeat of late and useful apprentice takes off 7lb but overall turf record is off putting.
Yet to win in 16 starts. Has looked better over further than this tough, as seen over 1m at Redcar last time out and others make more appeal; 2lb out the handicap.

Forecasts
Tricky Dicky (5/4), Valley of Fire (13/2), Ticks The Boxes (7/1), Penny Pot Lane (7/1), Calin's Lad (7/1), Bibbidibobbidiboo (10/1), Toofi (11/1), Etikaal (12/1), Related (16/1), Cosmic Chatter (20/1), Logi (20/1), Gift In Time (20/1), Elysee Star (25/1), Young Tiger (50/1)
CALIN'S LAD has less miles on the clock than many of these and he could be hard to beat if he improves from his debut for this yard on all-weather last time out. Toofi can't be entirely ruled out with De Sousa up for the first time despite the gelding's poor strike-rate. Course and distance winner Penny Pot Lane should appreciate conditions.
- Calin's Lad
- Toofi
- Penny Pot Lane
