A two-time winner in France. Steps up in trip for his belatedly debut for new connections having cost €60,000 in July 2018 and percentage call says he's probably best watched.
Hasn't won on the Flat for nearly two years and still only 3lb below his last winning mark. Produced some fair efforts in defeat last year from similar marks but didn't show enough on return at Epsom to be of interest here.
1m2f winner at Haydock in September and went close in follow up bid at Newcastle. Disappointed at York last time but fast ground a possible excuse and he had returned with two respectable efforts prior to that.
Won this race last year but his form since has been poor and he's shown nothing in three starts this season. He's become very well-handicapped but he's hard to fancy on what he's shown lately.
Haydock winner on fast ground for Hugo Palmer last year. Shaped well on return at York for his debut for this yard and he's a leading player if he comes on for that run from the same handicap mark. Needs to prove he's as effective on slower ground.
Losing run goes back to his sole success in a Doncaster maiden back in 2017. Didn't build on his comeback run at Goodwood last time (probably didn't stay) and looks vulnerable from this mark for now.
Only one win last year but he was running well in defeat throughout most of the campaign. Had excuses at Chester last time when raced very wide and it would be no surprise to see him return to form here.
Enjoyed a fruitful AW campaign this winter and improved from her reappearance to win at Musselburgh. Didn't build on that at Chester subsequently but drop back in trip might help and still unexposed on turf.
