Finished fourth of seven in a maiden at Saint-Malo (5½f, good) three weeks ago. Big prices both previous turf starts in Britain, may do better in this company.
Baltic King colt, not without some promise in novice races at Nottingham and Windsor over this trip recently (good to firm/good). Wouldn't need to improve greatly on fourth start to have some claims here.
Never nearer than the 12½L at the line between himself and the winner at Leicester (5f, good, 14-1) on debut in April. Gelded since that run, trainer has won this race the last three years and enlists champion jockey now.
€1,500 Anjaal gelding. Dam twice-raced half-sister to useful 6f winner Hold Your Colour. Makes debut, second runner for the yard in this line-up, with betting the best guide.
Canford Cliffs filly has shown definite ability in three starts over this trip at Brighton and Nottingham in maiden/novice company. Entitled to get involved at the finish of this.
Make Believe filly, up with the pace and finished in the frame all three starts so far, latest when just collared late on at Hamilton (5f, good to soft; 7-2) last month. Looks key player in this company.
Filly has been well held in her two runs, latest when eighth of 12 in novice at Windsor (6f, good to firm; 18-1) 20 days ago. Needs fair step forward on that evidence.

Forecasts
Paper Star (11/10), Beignet (4/1), Isobar Wind (9/2), Sir Gordon (5/1), Call Me Cheers (12/1), Fact Or Fable (18/1), Shani (20/1), Sooty's Return (50/1)
It might be worth chancing SIR GORDON here, as trainer Mick Channon seeks to win this race for a fourth straight year. He has been gelded since his Leicester debut and could take a step forward. The form choice is Paper Star, just denied late on at Hamilton last time and sure to be getting on with things. Isobar Wind has shown some ability and merits respect in this context, especially with Oisin Murphy taking over.
