Zebedee half-brother to useful winners Elnadim Star (5f/5½f) and Red Pike (6f). Should be sharp, although yard unusually slow to hit stride (0-2) with juveniles in 2019.

Canford Cliffs half-brother to 1m-1½m winner Villette. Showed promise when 1¾L third of 13 to Calippo at Lingfield (6f, good/firm) on debut, and is sure to progress.
By Casamento out of a fair 6f winner, from family of smart sprinter Dinkum Diamond. Almost five year's since yard's previous juvenile winner, and likely to be a long-term prospect.

By Mineshaft out of a US 6f winner, and sales price rose to £95,000 earlier this year. Yard 1-27 with 2-y-o newcomers in the past 12 months, and others preferred here.

Mayson half-brother to 6f-1m winner Admiralty Arch and winner up to 1¼m Saint Crepin, from excellent family of Barathea. Yard's 2-y-o newcomers always need experience (0-28 in last year), however, so looks one for the future.

11/8
Shamardal half-brother to useful juvenile 6f winner Swift Rose. All the rage for Nottingham debut (SP 4/9), but failed to fire, and never on terms. Cheekpieces tried now, and presumably thought capable of much better.

Horse silk
33/1
Gelded son of Sir Percy out of a High Chaparral mare. Pedigree suggests he will need time and distance, but yard has had a debutant winner from limited 2-y-o runners this year, and market check required.
Dark Angel half-brother to winner up to 1m Viserano and useful 2-y-o 1m winner Veranda out of a maiden half-sister to smart middle-distance winners Vison Celebre and Visionario. From a powerful yard, and jockey booking takes the eye.
Showcasing colt out of a German 1m winner, herself half-sister to smart 1m-1¼m winner Win For Sure out of smart 1¾m winner Win For Us. Yard introduced smart Jash here last year, so this colt needs respect if the market speaks in his favour.

Horse silk
9/2
Gleneagles half-sister to smart 6f winner Classical Times and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Newspaperofrecord. Makes plenty of appeal on paper for top yard, which won this race last year with Calyx.

Forecasts

Ottoman Court (11/8), Daily Times (9/2), Dorset Blue (5/1), Will To Win (7/1), Clareyblue (9/1), Visinari (10/1), Looktothelight (25/1), Strait Of Hormuz (33/1), Maysong (40/1), Little Brown Trout (66/1)

Verdict

Dorset Blue has form in the book and will improve, so sets the standard for others to aim at, but this race, won by Calyx last year, looks pretty warm on paper, and Gosden may again be the man to follow with DAILY TIMES, a half-sister to last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies' Turf winner Newspaperofrecord. Visinari and Will To Win are other newcomers to note, while Ottoman Court was sent off at 4/9 for his debut in a decent little race at Nottingham, so is presumably thought capable of much better than he showed there.
