Progressed nicely last season without getting close to winning. Will certainly be winning races this season but on balance of form may not to too well handicapped.
Well backed but disappointed on his final outing as a two.year-old. Had shown some promise of his two previous starts but others preferred in this contest.
Excellent effort last time out at Wolverhampton when beaten by a race fit and in-form rival. A repeat of that would see him go close and likely to benefit from step back in trip.
Not the most straightforward of characters (tends to be slow to stride and unseated rider once). Best watched until proving he is a more reliable betting proposition.
Had a busy winter with out troubling the judge. Has been gelded since and any market moves would be interesting.
Better effort in defeat on his penultimate start when beaten at Chelmsford before disappointing last time out on turf. Return to this surface to suit and one for the shortlist from good draw.
Ran well on his last three starts as a juvenile. Can go close if enjoying the surface and progressing over the winter. Respected.
Course and distance winner who put up one of his better displays in defeat last time out at Wolverhampton. Not blessed with the best draw here but entitled to go close on best of his form.
Slowly getting the hang of things and put up one of his best performances last time out at Wolverhampton. Excellent chance if reproducing that form.
Has struggled since winning a maiden at Wolverhampton last July. Slowly inching down the handicap. Possibilities but other preferred.
No worthwhile form last season and reappearance run was similar. No real chance on all known form.
Ran creditably on first start for new connections three starts ago over a mile at this track. Two disappointing runs subsequently and easy to pass over despite being well drawn.
Not out of it on the best of his form but may struggle from wide draw and lack of recent good form a worry.
Forecasts
Revolutionise (11/8), Pentland Lad (11/2), In The Cove (6/1), City Master (12/1), Sirinapha (14/1), Reddiac (14/1), Jungle Juice (16/1), Dove Divine (16/1), Bug Boy (20/1), Freedom And Wheat (20/1), Fancy Flyer (20/1), Greybychoice (25/1), Te Amo Te Amo (33/1)
IN THE COVE can get back to winning ways and make up for his narrow defeat to an in-form rival last time out. If Reddlac has improved over the winter then he may give the selection most to do while Greybychoice should go well if getting more luck in running than last time out at Wolverhampton.
- In The Cove
- Reddiac
- Greybychoice
