Finished second of 23 runners at Naas (6f) on his debut back in April. Followed that run up with a disappointing showing at Cork (7f) last time out though. Needs to bounce back.
Was third of 20 runners at the Curragh (6f) just 10 days ago where he was drawn away from the pace. There could be even more improvement to come from him, therefore, he is a leading contender.
Exceed and Excel colt who was always towards the rear on his debut at Cork (7f). Should improve from that experience but others are preferred.
Has run respectably well on her two starts on the AW at Dundalk. Was 6th of 14 runners over 7f last time where she was only beaten by 2¾L. One to watch.
Was fancied to break her maiden at Cork (7f) when she went off as the 9/4 favourite but had to settle for second of the 12 runners. Has been in the frame on her last three starts and has the best of the form in the race here.
Tamayuz filly who is related to Miss Beatrix who won as a two-year-old over this distance. Will be wearing a hood which is a slight concern. Likely to come on for the experience.
Was second behind subsequent Group winner So Perfect on her debut at Navan (5f). Long way down the field on latest start in a big field at the Curragh (6f). Needs to bounce back from latest run but shouldn't be discounted.
Oasis Dream filly who was purchased for €60,000 as a yearling. Closely related to a number of winners. Tongue-tie will be worn. Market support will be interesting.
Cape Cross filly who finished 11th of 18 runners on her debut at Cork (7f). A slow start did not help her chances on her opening run so she may have finished much closer if it wasn't for her mistake out of the stalls. One to watch.
Dark Angel filly who is a half-sister to Australian G1 winner Dariana. Will wear the hood on her opening start. Experience will help her for later in the campaign.
Forecasts
Hightimeyouwon (6/4), Arabeska (7/4), Anthonysoprano (7/1), Throwaway Line (12/1), Plane Tree Fairy (16/1), Mater Matuta (20/1), Marwari (25/1), Dali's Dream (25/1), Anythingyouwantobe (33/1), Tyriana (66/1)
HIGHTIMEYOUWON was unlucky to be drawn away from the pace in a big-runner field at the Curragh last time out when he was third. This is a much smaller field and doesn't look the strongest of maidens so he has a great chance to pick up his opening win. Arabeska has some really good form under her belt and is sure to be in the mix again, while Mater Matuta can challenge if she bounces back from her disappointing last outing.
- Hightimeyouwon
- Arabeska
- Mater Matuta
