Beaten under 3L (fourth) in a 6f soft ground Listed contest at Nottingham on her penultimate start; short of room when finishing down the field at Goodwood on Saturday (Class 2); an easier option on paper.
Came out strongest in a valuable 28 runner sales race at Newmarket (6f, good to soft) last October; went close on her second start of the season when beaten ½L by Mr Diamond at Wetherby (7f) 24 days ago; 2lb higher; player.
Well regarded by her trainer, she turned over a 4/9f on Northumberland Plate Day at Newcastle in June 2018 (5f novice); well below her peak form in two starts in 2019; tries a new trip.
Due a 3lb rise after bouncing back to form over 5f at Ayr (good to firm) last week when beaten a neck by Mark's Choice; softer ground mightn't aid her cause, but the deployment of Ben Sanderson's 5lb claim certainly will.
Left Archie Watson for 38,000gns in October 2018 after winning back-to-back 6f contests at Brighton (good to firm) and Leicester (good); 8lb above her last winning mark on debut for Ralph Beckett.
6f Nottingham scorer (August 2018); not beaten all that far when finishing sixth of 21 to Summer Daydream in Redcar's valuable Listed 2yo Trophy (6f); has scope to build upon her 7f Salisbury seasonal reappearance.
Toronado filly who made a striking winning debut over C&D (soft) last September before a fair run behind today's rival Lorton (fifth) at Newmarket; her opening handicap mark of 78 looks to be about right.
Demonstrated a proven ability of soft to heavy ground as a juvenile, winning a 5f Ffos Las nursery in August; made a promising seasonal reappearance at Thirsk (6f) earlier this month; faces a tougher assignment in a Class 3 handicap.
Like Praxidice shes carries the Ontoawinner silks; kicked off the season with a shock 40/1 win at Ripon (6f, good); placed off this 6lb higher mark since; plenty more improvement is required against these rivals.

Forecasts
Across The Sea (3/1), Lorton (4/1), Lady Calcaria (9/2), Strict Tempo (5/1), Praxidice (6/1), Chitra (7/1), Chynna (10/1), Princess Power (10/1), Gold Arrow (14/1), Yolo Again (14/1), Little Legs (33/1)
3lb ahead of the handicapper and with Ben Sanderson's 5lb claim now deployed a strong case can be made for supporting the back to form Yolo Again, although it does remain to be seen how she tackles some cut underfoot. Gold Arrow must improve further in order to land the hat-trick on her debut for Ralph Beckett, while C&D debut scorer Praxidice has already finished behind the selection LORTON at Newmarket. Julie Camacho's filly was a perfectly creditable second at Wetherby (7f) on her most recent start, and the winner of that race Mr Diamond wasn't disgraced in a stronger contest (fifth) at Goodwood on Saturday.
- Lorton
- Praxidice
- Yolo Again
