Canford Cliffs colt is a half-brother to 1m-1m4f winner Villette and plenty winners on dams side. Top yard, bit quiet lately but well able to have one ready.

£18,000 yearling, Requinto half-brother to winner up to 1m Rebel Lightning. Made decent if unspectacular start at Newmarket (6f, good) on debut and can improve.
7,000 gns yearling, Harbour Watch colt. Closely related to winner up to 1m1f Maftoon and juvenile 1m winner Trick Shot Jenny. Worth a look.

Garswood colt. Dam, maiden best efforts around 1m2f. Probably best watched here unless market suggests otherwise.
Sir Prancealot gelding. Half-brother to multiple winners, including 5f winner Catwilldo. Stamina for further and shaped poorly on debut at Salisbury (5f, good to firm; 25-1) a fortnight ago.

Has plenty speed on pedigree and debut effort at Redcar (6f, good; 9-2) this month probably best forgotten as met some trouble in the run. Should do better.

Canford Cliffs filly picked up for small money. Dam, 7f winner, closely related to useful winner up to 6f Danehill Destiny.
Swiss Spirit filly, not without promise in two runs at Brighton and Wolverhampton so far. Capable of getting involved with slight step forward.

Calippo (2/1), London Calling (7/2), Miss Matterhorn (5/1), Dorset Blue (5/1), Boasty (10/1), Overpriced Mixer (12/1), Decora (20/1), Full Spectrum (25/1), Little Brown Trout (25/1), Rodney Le Roc (33/1), Sir Chancealot (33/1), Rain Cap (50/1), Lafontaine (50/1), Broughtons Compass (66/1)

Verdict

Any money for the newcomers will be noted, with Richard Hannon's Dorset Blue perhaps the most appealing on paper. Those that have run have scope for better however and Miss Matterhorn, CALIPPO and London Calling are all in possession of experience and can do better. The first-named hasn't been beaten far in either starts and is respected but the selection looked a shade unlucky at Redcar and can leave that behind now over a track/trip that will suit.
  1. Calippo

  3. London Calling
