Useful hurdler on his day but finished well held in two starts on the AW on his return to the Flat. First run on turf since his debut in France and ground likely to far quicker than ideal. Hard to fancy on handicap debut.
Won off this mark over two miles on the AW here in February but woefully out of form when tailed-off in all four starts since. First-time visor added and remains best watched.
Sulamani gelding whose dam was a winning hurdler/chaser. Little to take away from three well beaten starts for Martin Keighley last year and plenty of improvement required on season, stable and handicap debut.
Sole win came over two miles on the AW here and yet to place in five starts on turf. Struggled to get involved over this trip at Salisbury at the beginning of this month and hard to make a strong case for in these conditions.
Struggled in his first four starts but better when third of six in a slowly-run Thirsk maiden this month. Could be suited by this extra trip but will need more progress back in a handicap off a 4lb higher mark.
Yet to win in 16 starts on turf and has failed to add to two 2017 successes for Ralph Beckett. Not disgraced on turf last twice and was a bit unlucky latest over 1m4f. Suited by extra trip and given a chance by the handicapper. Place possibilities.
Remains a maiden following 11 starts and down 4lb following three very poor efforts. Tries this trip for the first time but remains easy to dismiss at present.
Still a maiden following 26 starts although not far off a breakthrough win in a couple of runs at Chelmsford (AW) this year. Disappointed there though latest and yet to show a liking for turf in four previous efforts.
Winner of a match race over two miles on the AW in March but overall win record is just two from 27 on the Flat. Well held in two starts (latest over hurdles) since and others remain more convincing.
Jumps bred gelding left Brendan Powell following two runs and after wind surgery finished tailed off on stable and season debut on the AW this month. Debut effort would give him a chance off this opening handicap mark but hard to be confident in.
Twice successful back in 2017 over 7f and 6f but without a win since despite 19lb drop in the weights. Very disappointing last twice and trip and ground look against him. Easy to overlook.
Seven-race maiden (two in bumpers) has been tried at a number of distances with little success and tailed off in all five runs on the Flat. Huge improvement needed on first run in a turf Flat race and readily dismissed.
