Nothing to shout about in three-race bumper career, shaped better on Flat bow at Lingfield (1m2f, AW; 100-1) this month when fourth of 13. Needs to build on that here.

Intello filly. Half-sister to several winners, including smart 1m winner Cape Peron and 1m½f winner Faure Island. Needs a betting check on debut.

Nathaniel filly for whom pedigree isn't a beacon coming to the racecourse for the first time, watching brief unless market vibes are suggesting different.

Acclamation filly who cost €50,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to four winners. Better effort on second start when upped to this trip at Lingfield (AW) in March, only beaten 2½L into sixth. Can get in the shake-up.
Dansili filly. Half-sister to several winners, including the high-class Derby/Irish Derby winner Harzand from the Dermot Weld yard. Trainer in fine form and very notable newcomer.

Pivotal filly is a half-sister to three winners, including smart 1m4f-2mf winner Here And Now. Represents yard in form and goes on the shortlist for track debut.

Nicely bred Intello filly related to a couple of fair winners. Found only one too good on debut at Wetherby (1m2f, good; 6-1) and should go close again with likely improvement to come.

Lawman filly. Half-sister to 1m2½f winner Ace Combat. Trainer in form and boasting 24% strike-rate with three-year-old's this year (21-87). Interesting newcomer.

€180,000 yearling by Motivator; half-sister to winners Litigant (1m2½f-2m inc AW), Jollify (1m3f/1m4f), Metternich (1m1½f AW) and Fairy Duster (French 1m2f/1m5f). Ran very green on Sandown debut (1m2f, good to firm; 14-1) last month.

Zoffany filly bought for 15,000 gns at the sales as a foal. Half-sister to a number of useful Flat and jumps performers, sent off 50-1 on recent bow in Lingfield turf maiden over this trip; never a threat.

Daughter of New Approach, sister to 1m2f-1m4f winner Nigel. Sent off 40-1 last month on debut at Windsor over this trip and finished fifth of 16 having been given a low-key introduction. Should improve for that run.

By Nathaniel out a dam who was a two-year-old winner; third in soft-ground Newmarket maiden over 7f in November on debut. Could be more to come upped in distance.

Daughter of Dansili from a top-class family which includes Urban Sea. Pleasing start on the AW at Wolverhampton in November (fourth), poor run at Meydan in the spring and market check needed here.

80/1
Iffraaj filly with middle-distance bloodlines on the dam's side. The market anticipated better on her Newmarket debut but she finished well adrift in November mud. No better on this month's Chepstow reappearance (1m2f, good; 28-1) and bit to prove.

Forecasts

Inference (11/10), Norma (7/1), Promise Of Success (15/2), Hazaranda (15/2), Motivate Me (10/1), Oydis (12/1), Hereby (16/1), Monica Sheriff (25/1), Libbretta (50/1), Canoodling (50/1), Ord River (50/1), Mousebird (66/1), Dear Miriam (66/1), Vakilita (80/1)

Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute's 12-month record here (1-11) is at odds with historical figures (17% strike rate) and he's got an interesting newcomer in the shape of HAZARANDA here, a half-sister to Dermot Weld's English/Irish Derby winner Harzand. With the yard in good form, she earns the call. There are plenty debutantes to worry her, including Hereby and Monica Sheriff, while both Dear Miriam and Motivate Me are deemed likely improvers on their respective second starts.
  1. Hazaranda
  2. Hereby
  3. Dear Miriam
