Good effort at Salisbury at the start of this month and not much to find if able to dish out a repeat dose; has won here before so should handle the conditions too; rider's claim a further boost. Worthy contender.
Finished last in each of his latest outings and looks a risky option at present; is on a winning mark and does have a C&D success to his name so no forlorn hope if he can turn back the clock.
Dropped to 2lb below his C&D winning mark from last August and wasn't beaten too far at Salisbury last time. has a bit to find with The Groove on that evidence though.
Has won over C&D and was in good heart on turf last season; poor effort on the AW when last seen can be attributed to a long season and worth bearing in mind he won on his seasonal return last year. Can be thereabouts again.
Won over C&D last August and held his form well this season's efforts have also been encouraging. 4lb above his last winning mark though.
Won on the Polytrack at Kempton on his penultimate start but readily brushed aside last time; dropped 1lb since and has gone well here before now though. Looks weight to the limit at present.
Been off since posting a near miss at Wolverhampton last October but had previously been struggling to find her level. Best form has been over 5f (including a win here). Others preferred this time.
Likes this course and the conditions shouldn't pose him too many problems. The drop to 6f is a concern though and he might just find things happening a stride quicker than he cares for these days.
Has won when fresh before now which outs a shadow of doubt on the form of his seasonal debut at Wolverhampton last month. Needs to take a big step forward this time. Being 3lb above his last winning mark doesn't make it easy.
Well treated on the pick of his past form and has to be respected after a near miss on seasonal bow at Windsor last month. Up 2lb but still on a handy mark. Has to merit consideration.
Dropped to a very lenient mark and created the impression he's starting to capitalise when third of eight at Brighton last time. Dropped 1lb since and dangerous to leave out of the plans for at least a place.
Won over 7f on the AW in March but held from a 2lb higher mark twice since. Has a bit to prove now dropped to 6f and is yet to win on turf.
Won at Brighton from a 4lb lower mark at the start of this month and merits a betting check st least. Still on a handy mark but has never won two races on the bounce before now.
Has won over C&D but will do well to figure this time from 10lb out of the weights.

THE GROOVE has hit form at the right time for this and he will be hard to overhaul if he betters last week's effort at Salisbury. Swanton Blue can go well fresh and has a C&D win to his name, so also merits serious consideration, while Secondo and the in-form Trotter are a couple of others that are likely to be thorns in the side for the selection.
