Rattled up five wins at Dundalk this winter before being denied a six-timer at Listed level at Chelmsford (UK). Previously unplaced in three on turf but progressive since. Faces different ground, a step up in class and a mile for the first time.
Oasis Dream filly, cost €90,000 as a yearling. Slowly away on Gowran Park debut last year but looked to have wintered well with a mile maiden win on soft at Limerick when short of room, that can be upgraded. Still a big ask up in class.
Galileo filly out of a Danehill mare. Closely related to Frankel and Order Of St George. Off the mark at fifth attempt last year but failed to improve on return in last month's trial on soft over 7f here. Questions to answer now in this class.
Filly by Sea The Moon out of a Danehill Dancer mare. Unraced at two and quickly built on the promise of her debut third with a nice win over 1m1f at Tipperary. Obvious big step up in class but looks a filly to keep on the right side of.
Camelot filly, related to a number of winners. Eased right down on October's debut here but looked a different proposition with an easy Cork maiden win last month. Bare form leaves her with plenty to find but looked an exciting prospect.
After largely underwhelming two-year-old campaign she landed a shock 25/1 win over 5f on handicap debut and ran to a similar level when third over 7f here. Kept on as though she should stay but this looks a rise in class too far.
Won here on last year's debut over 6f and then either side of a poor run over 7f, showed improvement over 6f for a Group 3 fourth and a Listed third. Boasts some good form ahead of reappearance but didn't seem to stay 7f so this trip is a big query.
War Front filly was off the mark at the seventh attempt in a Thurles maiden after previously struggling in Listed and handicap company. No impression in 1m2f Listed Pretty Polly Stakes at Newmarket on return and may find life tough again.
Dark Angel filly improved from sole 2018 run to win in good style over 7f here. Improved again for a close sixth over the same trip in a Curragh Group 3 against her elders. Stable has won three of the last 10 renewals and rates a leading hope.
Curragh maiden winner last summer over this trip and then finished twice fourth over inadequate 7f in Listed and Group 3 class. Out of luck on return in 1m2f Listed Salsabil Stakes and better than bare result.. Likely improver and can go close.
Forecasts
Trethias (7/2), Titanium Sky (4/1), Fire Fly (9/2), Hamariyna (5/1), Dean Street Doll (11/2), Lady Wannabe (12/1), Beau Warrior (14/1), Mia Mento (20/1), Madam Seamstress (25/1), Mona Lisa's Smile (25/1)
With the stable boasting a strong record in the race and the improvement that Titanium Sky has shown with each run, she has to be a big challenger back against her own age group. Narrow preference though is for TRETHIAS, who was bang out of luck on her return when getting checked and then running on when it was too late. This distance and a likely strong pace could proved ideal for now. Two others to note are stylish maiden winners Hamariyna and Lady Wannabe who, while this rates a big rise in class, looked potential Group class fillies in the making. Fire Fly isn't one to give up on yet and market support would be interesting.
- Trethias
- Titanium Sky
- Hamariyna
