His sole win in 17 career starts came when dead-heating at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) in June, and although he knocked at the door thereafter, he wasn't able to break through. Well held on return at Thirsk, and steps up in trip now.
Appreciated the strong gallop to share a first AW success at Newcastle in February over 6f. Back to form when third of 10 to Galloway Hills at Redcar last time, and although up in trip here, he does stay.
Dual turf handicap winner last year, and not seen to advantage when seventh of 12 to Mont Kinabalu at Pontefract (1m) on his return. Should do better now, and not taken lightly now back to his last winning mark.
All three wins at around this trip, most recently over C&D in July off 4lb higher. Largely well held since, but too well handicapped to ignore, and looked in need of his return at Doncaster recently.
Goes well at Wolverhampton, gaining a fourth course win in March. Well beaten off revised mark there last month, and is high in the weights on the balance of his turf form.
Four of his seven career wins have come over C&D, and took advantage of his plummeting mark to win a lady riders' event at Salisbury in September. Again ran badly on final start, and hard to know what to expect with usual headgear missing on return.
Saves his best efforts for straight tracks these days (all his wins for this yard have come at Redcar), and while he ran well when third at Doncaster last time, he's not certain to back that up.

Forecasts
Muatadel (9/4), Abushamah (3/1), Cameo Star (4/1), Straight Ash (6/1), Dasheen (8/1), Relight My Fire (14/1), Billy Wedge (16/1), Peachey Carnehan (18/1)
C&D winners Relight My Fire and Dasheen are hard to predict these days, but are both well enough handicapped to contend, while Abushamah has solid place claims, but is on a long losing run. All in all, MUATADEL looks just about the likeliest winner on the back of a solid effort over shorter at Redcar last time.
