Brought up hat-trick of wins when scoring over 2m at Leopardstown in March, and further improvement when second of 12 to Dommage Pour Toi in Grade 2 novice at Fairyhouse last time. Leading chance down in class.

Ran his best race when second to Castlebawn West at Leopardstown in December, and won next time. Much better than he showed when down the field in Grade 1 there in February, and capable of a big run if bouncing back.

Won maiden at Thurles in January, and improved further when landing a novice handicap at Fairyhouse last time by neck from Kuiper Belt. Bit more needed here, but can't be ignored in such a good vein of form.

Beaten readily by The Big Dog in a 2½m maiden at Gowran in January, but improved when dropped back to 2m there last time, winning well. Can do better still, and respected.

Won a maiden at Listowel and a novice at Galway at around 2m in October for Brian Cawley, but not seen since. Starts out for a new yard after a break, and market will be informative.

Victorious by a head in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse (good/yielding) in February. Previously finished third to a subsequent Grade 1 winner so isn't taken lightly given he's heading in the right direction.

Mister Eddmanh38
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-10| J: B Browne(5)| T: O McKiernan
40/1
Ex-pointer who wore a hood when winning 2m3f maiden at Downpatrick on hurdling debut by 3¾L from Lady Ischia in March. No fluke about that win despite his SP, and he should improve at this trip.
Didn't need to improve a weak maiden hurdle at Down Royal at Christmas, and he ran poorly there on his latest start. Seems to have plenty to find on balance.

Best effort when fourth at Galway in October, but well held in a couple of subsequent starts (in cheekpieces last time), and appears to his work cut out again, unless first-time blinkers have a dramatic effect.

100/1
Ex-pointer who improved on the promise of his hurdles debut when fifth of 12 to Mister Eddman at Downpatrick last time. Looks held by that rival on these terms, unless he improves for the fitting of a tongue tie.

Returned from a break with a 26L third in a 2½m maiden hurdle at Cork (soft) in March, and went backwards from that when pulling up at Tramore last month. Claims on the form he showed last summer, but something to prove at present.

Well held in bumpers, but has done better since sent hurdling, and in the frame in maiden events at Thurles and Downpatrick in March. Further appreciable improvement required in this company, however.

Forecasts

Zero Ten (5/4), The Big Dog (11/4), Voix Des Tiep (4/1), Whatsafellatodo (10/1), The Holy One (12/1), Presented Well (33/1), Chavi Artist (33/1), Mister Eddman (40/1), Macgiloney (50/1), Makka Pakka (66/1), Montagne D'Argent (100/1), Gigiplan Two Seven (100/1), Golan Warrior (200/1)

Verdict

ZERO TEN keeps improving and although his winning run was ended at Fairyhouse, he remains on an upward curve. he gets the vote ahead of Voix des Tiep who won well last time, although was beaten by The Big Dog at Gowran on his penultimate start, and if he can shake off a subsequent flop, he comes firmly into the reckoning.
