Consistent sort who won over this trip at Kempton and Newmarket last year. Feasibly handicapped for return to action and is likely to run her race.

10/3
Well-bred filly who won a 1m1½f novice event at this course in November. Keen early on when quite close third of six on handicap bow over C&D earlier this month and can do better off 1lb lower mark with the freshness knocked out of her.

Off the mark at the tenth attempt when winning a C&D handicap earlier this month. Bit more to do off 2lb higher rating, but confidence should be high.

Winner on the Flat and over hurdles who was fourth to Vampish over C&D on latest outing. Has her work cut out to turn the tables, even on these better terms.

Dual winner for Charlie Hills last year and was having her first run for this yard when well held on turf at Pontefract earlier this month. Has an AW success on her CV so this track and 1lb lower mark promises to suit

Ebqaa7
Age: 5|  Weight: 8-13| J: Liam Jones| T: J W Unett| OR:  66| C
3/1
Winner over 1m6f at this venue last month and ran well despite not gaining a clear run to be third of 12 off 3lb higher over C&D last week. Solid chance after being dropped 1lb.

Forecasts

Vampish (11/4), Ebqaa (3/1), Birch Grove (10/3), Sula Island (11/2), Point In Time (8/1), Gemini (11/1)

Verdict

Ebqaa did not get the clearest of runs over C&D last time so she did well to finish so close. She has to go on the short list along with the consistent Point In Time, but the one with most improvement in her is BIRCH GROVE, who was keen over C&D earlier this month and should be more amenable to restraint with that run under her belt. Cases can also be made for Vampish and Gemini.
  1. Birch Grove
  2. Ebqaa
  3. Point In Time
