Not the brightest star in Ballydoyle, has plenty of work to do and seems second-pick of the Aidan O'Brien duo.

Placed in Group 3 company last season after a winning debut, that sort of form will put him in the mix for this prize if he can find on seasonal bow.

Progresses nicely last season, ending term with Naas maiden win. Returns to action facing a much sterner test of her credentials.

Career-best when winning 20-runner maiden at Naas (6f, good; 8-1), readily on most recent sighting. Worth a tilt at this sort of prize on return.

Hasn't fired in two starts this term but likely better suited by this trip/ground. Filly will have to improve to score.

Rainbow Moonstone22
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-12| J: Declan McDonogh| T: J P O'Brien| OR:  89| D
16/1
Lightly-raced Naas maiden winner, not disgraced in Group 3 company at Leopardstown on reappearance. More required to land this however.

Forecasts

The Irish Rover (5/2), Cava (4/1), Chicago May (5/1), Inverleigh (6/1), Chicas Amigas (6/1), San Andreas (10/1), Gustavus Weston (14/1), Rainbow Moonstone (16/1), Eclipse Storm (25/1), Chestnut Express (33/1)

Verdict

The Irish Rover just about sets the standard on the pick of last season's efforts and should be better off for the recent outing at Leopardstown, but he's not one to set the watch by and can be taken on here with CAVA. She lacks a recent run but won first-time out last season and the form of her Group 3 third at the Curragh last August (sole start after debut) ready very strongly. Chicago May, also reappearing, has scope for doing better things this term and could snare some place money.
