Showed promise on his first two starts and underlined that with a win a very short odds at Lingfield last time. Mark looks stiff enough based on that alone, but in very good hands and no surprise to see him follow-up.
Won both starts in AW novice races (1m2f) at Newcastle and Lingfield. Switches to turf, but no reason why he can act well on it. Initial mark looks stiff on his bare form, but he is another with a trainer who can improve them. Interesting.
Represents a top yard that has won this race three times in the last nine years. Both her wins have been with cut in the ground, so rain would be a plus. Scored at Nottingham (1m2f) when last seen and follow-up not ruled out from 4lb higher.
Placed in three of her five AW starts. Switches to turf with cheekpieces now added, but more needed.

Forecasts
Moonlight Spirit (5/6), So High (5/2), Cape Islay (7/2), Aspire Tower (10/1), Wanaasah (25/1)
Another really interesting contest, where CAPE ISLAY is taken to score. That is not only down to Mark Johnston's record in this race, but also because there are reasons to believe that his filly could be well treated on her reappearance. With some rain around, she could get the ground she appears to favour. So High and Moonlight Spirit both look leading contenders while Aspire Tower is not ruled out.
- Cape Islay
- So High
