Sent off at 50-1 when respectable seventh of 19 over C&D last month. Takes a drop in class and is 2lb lower which gives him each-way claims.
Reserves his best form for Ayr, where he has been successful four times, including on final two starts last season. Career-high mark to overcome.
Ninth of 10 on only start for John Mackie at Newcastle when last seen in September. Probably best watched on first run for current trainer.
Plenty of good placed efforts last season, including over C&D. Ran well to be second after a lay-off last summer and is only 1lb higher so has decent claims.
Back from a break and a gelding operation when fair fourth of 13 in a recent novice event at Redcar. Makes his handicap debut and is an interesting contender.
Down the field on final four starts last year, but earlier win at Beverley off a 2lb higher mark gives him claims. Seemed to need last year's seasonal reappearance.
Back from a break when seventh of eight at Leicester earlier this month. Should be sharper this time and has been dropped 5lb.
Wolverhampton winner over 6f last summer, but has not scored since. Has stamina to prove over this longer trip.
Nine wins from 40 starts on the AW, but is 0-10 on turf. That record speaks for itself so others make much more appeal.
Not at his best for a long time, but has plummeted down the weights to a dangerous mark. Signs of a revival on latest outing, so not one to dismiss lightly.
On a long, losing run. Only win was achieved over 5f in 2017 so he has all sorts of questions to answer and is not hard to oppose.
Ayr winner over 1m last May and plenty of creditable efforts in defeat since that success. Has been dropped 3lb since fair run on the AW last time and is not without hope.
Fair efforts on last two runs at Wolverhampton, but he finds it difficult to get his head in front these days despite a falling handicap mark. Readily opposed.
Completely out of sorts in recent races. Hard to make any sort of case for despite being given every chance by the handicapper.

Fighting Temeraire (4/1), Atalanta's Boy (11/2), Valley of Fire (13/2), Hammer Gun (8/1), Tukhoom (8/1), Abushamah (10/1), Art Echo (10/1), Somewhere Secret (12/1), Redarna (12/1), Miss Sheridan (14/1), Maximum Power (14/1), Kentuckyconnection (14/1), Rebel State (16/1), Royal Connoisseur (25/1), Dasheen (28/1), The Stalking Moon (40/1), Brigand (80/1)
Many of these have similar profiles so it may pay to take a chance with handicap debutant ATALANTA'S BOY, who has shown ability and is far less exposed than his rivals. A host of dangers are headed by Miss Sheridan, Tukhoom, Fighting Temeraire and Rebel State.
