Filly by Sea The Stars out of a Pivotal mare. Faded late when tenth of 15 in a 1m maiden at Thurles when last seen, needs this run to get a handicap mark.
42.000 gns yearling. Related to plenty of winners and caught the eye when staying on from the rear in a 1m1f maiden at Leopardstown in October. Will improve, but plenty to find on bare form.
420,000gns yearling by Dubawi out of a winning sister to Breeders' Cup Turf winner Red Rocks. Failed to live up to pedigree/price tag when well held on debut at Leopardstown recently, but ought to do better.
Half-sister to fairly useful 2m winner Newellen. Left debut form well behind when 8½L fifth of 13 to Solage in a 1m1½f maiden at Gowran last time, and type to keep progressing, for all she needs to.
Bred for speed, but didn't show a great deal at Fairyhouse (6f) in September, and hopes rest on longer trip bringing a sharp improvement.
Daughter of Rajj who improved from debut when second at Dundalk over 7f, but ran badly tried in Listed company at Navan next time, and opposable for all this represents a lesser task. Cheekpieces added now.
Casamento half-sister to 1¼m winner Danzay and 1m winner My Only Hope out of a maiden half-sister to high-class winner up to 1¼m Ghaiyyath. Stiff task on debut, but worth a precautionary market check.
Sea The Moon half-sister to 6f winner Haraz. Third to Titanium Sky in a 7f maiden at Leopardstown earlier this month, finishing well from a poor position. Sure to improve markedly, and respected.
Half-sister to King George winner Novellist among others. Held back by inexperience when seventh of 14 to Tarnawa in a 7f maiden at Leopardstown early this month, and is open to marked improvement with that run behind her. Shortlist material.
Lawman filly who has shown very little on either start, beating just one rival in total. No appeal here.
$50,000 yearling by Lemon Drop Kid, and having her third quick run having showed a modicum of ability in runs at Leopardstown and Naas. One for handicaps in all likelihood.
Improved from debut when 7½L seventh of 11 to Fire Fly in 7½f maiden here in August, but couldn't do any better when filling the same spot at Gowran on final 2-y-o outing. Others stronger again.
Offered something to work on when 6¾L sixth of 16 to Basic Law in a 7f maiden at Gowran recently, and should build on that in time, but others look a little stronger in this field.
War Command half-sister to several winners, including useful 7f-1¼m winner Miss You Too. Yard doesn't get many debutant winners, but she's hard to rule out entirely.
Galileo filly who improved from a modest debut when fifth of 15 to Lady Wannabe in a 1m½f maiden at Cork last time, and seems the type to progress again having attracted support there. One to keep in mind.
Forecasts
Hamariyna (11/10), Simply Beautiful (4/1), Fancy Feat (5/1), Invitation (7/1), Acapella Blu (9/1), Sarah Jessica (14/1), Afric (20/1), Reeking Havoc (33/1), Nuzzles (33/1), Lemon Quartz (66/1), Grace De Dieu (66/1), Boughtinthedark (66/1), Septimo Cielo (66/1), Gentility (100/1), Katie Beag (100/1)
HAMARIYNA made up eye-catching late ground at Leopardstown on debut, and could well be much better than that effort suggests. She's given the nod ahead of Aidan O'Brien's pair Simply Beautiful and Invitation.
- Hamariyna
- Simply Beautiful
- Invitation
